This is good info. link: http://maximumyield.com/blog/2014/01/01/ozone-a-growroom-super-tool/
"No More Bud Rot
An ozone generator can save crops from botrytis and other pathogens, even if it’s already started to weave its gray web around plants. It does this quickly without adding any toxic...
I've been doing a lot of research the past few days, and haven't come up with much.
So far, the best advice is that if you can smell the ozone, it's too high. Just don't know if that's too much for plants or just humans. Here's the link.
I've been battling a pm problem.
* I have great ventilation. In fact, it's way overkill.
* Humidity has been super low so far. Not an issue.
* I'm increasing the # of circulation fans in the room. I notice that the pm only grows on the side of a plant that is facing away from the...
I'm wondering if the snot isn't actually helping the plants a little. Between h2o2 doses [3-4 days], the ph drifts up a little.
With 5.8 being optimal, and looking at the nutrient absorb-ability ph chart, some nutes are barley available at 5.8 on either side of the spectrum. My logic is that by...
Yeah, I know. The mark for nutes if the tap had no ppm is 1000. So I can go as high as 1500 with my 500 tap. My meter does not differentiate between tap ppm & nutes ppm.
Cool, good info! I'll stick to 1 tbsp per gal. Want to risk burning pistols as little as possible.
Yeah, the room never gets above 50% RH. I have a 6" intake fan, and two 6" exhaust fans blowing 24/7. No humidity spikes after lights out, etc. The intake draws air from a controlled temp/humidity...
Thanks. I haven't tried the milk yet. That's next on the list. It's not bad right now because of the treatments I've been giving it with the sulfur burner & Neem. I just gotta keep up with the maintenance so it don't come back strong again. I had to chuck 6 Diablo [all of them] plants the last...
Just my .02 as a hydro noob myself.
Over water = lack of oxygen. I chose to not use a bucket system because there is always some water left behind in bucket. Could be that the roots are using up all the oxygen in that water between watering making it look like it's a over watering problem when...
Hey all,
I'm about to start using Potassium Bicarbonate to control PM on both my mum's and flowering plants.
I've read that it can be applied right up to last day before harvest.
Doing a quick search on here just now, I read that it will burn the hell out of the hairs/pistols. This sounds...
Ha! I can't believe it. I couldn't get any of the new media I want today, but I wound up at a different hydro store than the one I usually go to, and they had STG 1.5" cubes and Hail cubes. I've been wanting to try this stuff for a long time now, but the company went under and nobody has any...
