I have mainly used Botanicare in my few small grows and I gotta say for a soil tent grow with a 1000w HPS...I will be cutting some pretty nice buds down soon considering I had a few burps in the time line.

T The plants I have now are overpowering my filter set up the last few days and it's cold as fuck outside -15 celsius which usually knocks the nose out a touch for smell. Luckily my hood isn't super busy and it's new so I'm not too concerned.

Probably depends on ones expectations from their set up, personally I don't stress at all but I get a bit anxious when I think they're not progressing much.

Use Canadian soil, it puts off less odour for the fuzz to detect.

I'd have to lean towards the lighting/nutrient uptake, what else has changed here. Cause and effect, I use white buckets and I haven't had any issues like that. Like someone else said don't look for a major problem to solve, it's a simple one no doubt.

I bought fem seeds from a well known seed bank a few years ago and they all went male and in the garbage, wasn't very impressed.
