My mistake - I didn't realize those are not mono blues in the fixture. I'll retract that blurple comment. I am fully aware of LSG's reputation in the SSL industry. I was commenting on the rather hyperbolic language in the press release, which frankly, I am getting sick of.

Are you referring to the Lumileds Luxeon C line? I hear the new ones range from 38%-60% efficient, engineering samples going out this month

Does anyone know more details about the Fluence 2.15 umol / J efficiency claim? I find that hard to believe unless they are getting absolute TOP bin from Osram every time, AND using the most efficient Intematix phosphors, etc. Personally I'm not sure I would believe without third party...

IP54 isn't hard to achieve, although Illumitex and Heliospectra are probably the only ones to consistently meet/exceed this rating. Lens is likely PMMA for higher transparency; Heliospectra uses Lumileds Rebel LEDs and I really question the total system efficiency they are getting with these...
