  • I like the dry ice idea... it does not melt right? So that would work really well. As for the fans being on other sides of the room... I was thinking rlthat but we do not want to put a hole in the wall. A door we can replace no problem... maybe we will just take the window complete out and put the out take fan above the window unit... but if we do that we would be pulling the cold air from the unit out of the room.

In the winter we will be fine... it gets cold here in the winter and hot in the summer. It can range from 100+ to 0- over the year. So in the summer it will be a pain
Remember heat rises. You would want to use the top of the door to pull the air out of the room and the bottom of the door to pull air in. A better setup would be to pull from opposite sides of the room. So the cooler air has a chance to move across the room and be sucked out. Increasing the effectiveness of the passing of the air. Otherwise you may only end up cooling half your room. and more fans will be needed to move air around this room.

What are your thoughts on all this?
    Anyways,

Your central air may be key in a room with that much power. I would use a window unit as well. You can play with both until you get things set to where they should be. May take some time to get it set correctly but I am sure you will figure it out.

If you need to move some air in that room in and out. I wouldn't be using 4" fans/blowers. I would be using 6 to 8" fans/blowers and some 6 to 8 inch ducting. Maybe even larger but that may be enough to exchange air in the room. You have a load of air to move and quickly with the lights you plan on having. If you can move enough air in and out of the room you may not have to use a dehumidifier. Instead of the ice idea I would get some dry ice block and use that instead as it gives of Co2 in the process.
Yeah man we can talk about lighting and cooling.

I was just on that thread you started. People got pretty heated huh? I sometimes laugh when I see people arguing on the internet. reminds me of a sig I seen one time.
It was kinda mean but funny at the same time. It was a picture of a boy with down syndrome jumping threw the finish line tape. It said Arguing on the internet is like winning the special Olympics. In the end you are still a retard.
I thought it to be funny while other thought it to be rude and mean. Everyone's humor is different I guess. But no offense to people with that condition.
