Oh yeah, it can definitely be done. 30 inches of growing height is PLENTY. Is that 30" from the top of the pot, or the floor? Regardless, whether you top or not is up to you. If you top, keep in mind that she will take a bit of time to recover, and the longer you veg, the bigger the rootmass will want to be. This is actually my first LST plant, but my plans for my next grow include topping early (around 4 nodes or so) and tying the branches down to spread her out. If you let her grow out from there up to your 30", you'll have PLENTY of bud! You can start flowering as soon as you see preflowers, or alternating nodes. Hope that helps man.
