  • the flowering is 8 weeks, veg for like 2-4 weeks depending on the speed of growth of your strand and size you want. Veg is the time once you transplant from rooted clone or seedling.
"so all i should buy for my first grow is micro grow bloom /bud blood /big bud /and overdrive sound right"
Yup. Give a little more grow from the 3 part during your veg and the grow cycle for me is 8 weeks to 60 days. So my feed supplements would go BudBlood fir week 1 : BigBud for weeks 2 3 4 ; Overdrive weeks 5 6 7, flush for week 8 maybe up to day 60 depending on what the plant looks like. Here's a trick for finnishing. Keep them in the dark for 36 hours before crop. This matures the plant and stops the light from burning the resin off, you should always crop in the "morning" after the dark cycle.

"ad i take it i can us the grow micro bloom thru all growth"
Yes though veg and bloom, increasing the amounts with the size of the plant.
i would buy the "Overdrive" instead of the Rhino Skin and use it (overdrive) after the Big Bud for the last 2 weeks or so of feeding then 1 week flush. The bud has three stages of growth. Think of subdividing the Bloom phase into three segments. The 1st being the onset of the fruit, which the bud blood does very well in stimulating. the 2nd is a girth or mass building stage and the begining of the resin creation process. (Big Bud) The 3rd is a flavour and resin production (Overdrive) until maturity where the THC globules, or resin molicules, actually change from clear to cloudy to amber. When about 40-50% of the globules are amber you crop. This is technical but it is to say that the nutrients you give the plant should reflect the life cycle it is in. I ramble so feel free to ask for clarification.
i hear rhino skin does a job on pH. so if you're not following this closely, i would buy the overdrive instead you'll get more benefit for yourt money. follow the instructions and start slow and increase ppm as your plant gets bigger. The bigger the plant the more ppm you can give them, flush in the last week with water or 1/4 strength base only (micro grow bloom)
    No problem brother.
Don't forget to join the revolution, if only in your mind.
IMHO a light mover is a waste of time. I have 4 in my junk room, I do use one for my clones while they veg. You will get the same yield with or without the light mover. 1000w will cover 9 5 gal nicely, 3 rows of 3, keep the spacing inside a 4 foot square.
(1/2) hey flatty, if you are interested in a grow setup similar to woodmans', that is called a recirculating deep-water culture, or RDWC for short. you asked about how you get the water to return to the rez since they are the same height. the answer is there are two rez's basically -- one is a true reservoir, and the other is a 'control bucket'. with the control bucket, you control the liquid height in all the buckets. the water is typically pumped from the control bucket into the other buckets, and then gravity drains the buckets back to the control bucket. as the plants drink water, that control bucket circulates and empties. when the water level falls past a certain point in the control bucket, a valve opens that drains liquid in from the true reservoir, which typically sits above the control bucket.
(2/2) in this way you only need to top-up/replenish the main reservoir when the plants begin to drink. if you look around for RDWC tutorials or DIY guides, you will probably even find lists of the specific parts you need to plumb it all together. it really shouldnt cost that much though, and you may not even need a parts list, just a better understanding on how it all works. then you just pick up the fittings you need. check out some of those walkthroughs for more info on how people do it. also, if youre going to grow plants in this manner, you should really use some high-powered HID lighting. check out the forums, stickies, and guides and youll be set!

    cheers,
    mr. bond
