  • if the leaves are more narrower with fingertip like leaves it is probably a sativa or more sativa than indica. Sativa when smoked gives an uplifting head high. Now indicas are fairly shorter and have wider leaves. The indican buzz is a body sensation.Stone Sometimes can create couch lock.
Pretend the extra 5h never occurred and keep the lights on and lights off time as before.

Always when something like this happens, try to keep your plants on the preset schedule. This way stress is minimal and the chances of revegging are practically 0.
In regards to trimming fan leaves, there are few things to say:

    1. In the first part of flowering fan leaves produce over 60% of the photosynthesis-produced glucose necessary for the adjacent stem and it's buds, so cutting it may not be a good idea...
    2. The older the plant gets, the more it relies on the bud leaves for bud production, so after some 6-7 weeks on flowering, I'd say that the role of fan leaves turns from photosynthesis-glucose provider to basic nutrient provider (N, K, P, minerals), while the role of glucose production is almost completely taken over by the bud leaves...

So, depending on the age of your plant and on how much light the fan leaves are stealing from the bud leaves, you should consider cutting off the fan leaves...
UVB is the way to go... UVA just f*cks up your eyes and does nothing for the plant. UVB10% are for desert living reptiles, 5% is for jungle reptiles...
If your small one was not yet ready to flower it will take some 2-3 weeks for the first signs of sex to appear. Wait some 3-4 weeks after you've started flowering and then see if it's a male.

Don't worry about pollination, it takes another 2-4 weeks after sex has appeared for it to fully form and start releasing pollen...
cool. thanks man. sounds like you know you shit. apreiciate the help. when the camera works, ill show ya, man i think yull be imressed dfor a newbie. just for me......so not alot, going for quality....
My little secrets on improving yeald are:

UV- get a 10% UV light from a pet store and let it shno on your plants for 3-5h/day. This will improve potency.
Molasses- 1tbs/gallon every watering. Will accelerate terpene and cannabinoid production.
Banana peels- banana peels eliminate ethylene. Place them onder the plant. Ethylene accelerates flowering and bud production.
co2- mix 1l water, 1tbs dry yeast, 2tbs sugar. Let this solution sit in a bottle close to the plants or behind the bent. Produces co2. Must be changed once every 2 weeks.

Except for these few things, I have the typical setup: grow cabinet with 2 12cm fans for intake, 2 9cm fans for outtake, mylar, electronic ballast, sonlight agro HPS bulb, 22 gallon pots, soil, perlite, organic nutes. I sometimes supercrop if height becomes a problem.
Yes, I do find that bulbs specially designed for horticultural use are more efficient than simple HPS bulbs. I use a Sonlight Agro bulb because it's perfect for veg and flowering and works better than any other MH or HPS I've ever had.
