  • I like to add mine to some lemon pop, like sprite, 7up or something similar....

    Hope this helps, cheers.. mannurse...
From this point, you have good pruduct to use in the tincture.
I use 1 oz per gram of product. You have 2 methods to work with. In all honesty, the long method worked better for me.
    Long method:
Put the product in a light proof container and add 2 oz of the solvent. Let sit in a cupboard for 3-5 weeks, shaking every so often. When done, you will have 1-4 doses, depending on the size.
You can use more solvent and more product. I like to stay at the 1 gram/oz of solvent.
For a quick method, put the liquor in a glass bowl. Put the bowl in a pot with water in it on the stove. Now, with a thermometer, heat the water, so it gently heats the alcohol in the glass bowl. Add the product, and raise the temp of the alcohol to 155-165, and keep it at this temp for 20 min. You will evaporate like 50% of the alcohol, so in 1 oz, you will have 4 grams disolved.. a little more concentrated....
Hey Joe... Well, it is pretty easy. I do very small batches at a time. I also use lemon extract as my tincture solvent. The lmon extract should be 90% alcohol. If not, use Everclear at 90%. Next choice would be to use Bacardi 151, at 75% alcohol.
I do 2 grams of product at a time. I grind it up, then bake it in the oven at 175-200 F for 15 minutes. It will get really dry and crispy.
