Keep it clean and ALWAYS keep the PH probe wet! They sell a storage solution that you put a couple drops in the cap and it is suppose to make it last longer.I kept it clean and wet but it still stopped holding the calibration. The blue lab PH pen was only like 110$ and the PPM pen was only 95$...

Spend the money and go with Blue Lab! I have gone through a lot of the Hanna meters(pen and the gro check combo) and they suck! They are awesome while they work but they wont last a year.

If possible I would keep the fan out of the tent...It will give you more room in there and keep the heat produces by the fan out as well.
