i've just done this and i havn't had any problems with it, started off in the same cube you mentioned and now it's sitting in a pot full of soil and havn't had any drama's...oh and i covered the rockwool cube with about 1cm of soil. all in all it's ok to do:peace:

im a bong fiend myself, i like a joint every now and then but only if i got heaps of bud... another method i don't mind is the old bucket....they trash you good and proper:mrgreen:

dutchmaster is the only brand of nutes i've used...mind you i've only done 1 grow - harvest...on my second one now and can't complain. i will add though don't pay a cent over $10 for each bottle of the basic stuff. theres plenty of brands out there so it wouldn't hurt to do a bit of research.
