Ok well ignoring the past few post getting off topic, I've used jacks tomato feed for about 3 months before getting aquagold. I didn't want to ship 26lbs internationally, and a friend sent me some eventually. Tomato feed works, don't get me wrong, but I had time to do one grow with it before...

I don't like to flush 2 weeks, I just drop down the nute concentration last two weeks working down to 25%. By then, my pots need to be watered everyday, and I always feed, then flush next watering, then flush, then feed, ... The last 3-4 days are water only then cut.

I tuck branches for the first 2 weeks or so. When the stretching slows I stop. The stretching doesn't however, so over the next 2-4 weeks you'll get branches growing up above the screen giving you the typical Scrog look. But for the first 4-5 weeks (estimating here) it looks like a green table...

what about your topping the plant. That can slow it down drastically depending on how and when it was done...you've always topped this early on (whenever it is you did) and in the same manner?

You did great man, you got through the first grow!!! Don't limit yourself to forums threads, there's a lot of iseful info on the net and in books to. But there's a lot of not so good, or misleading info. Go with what you feel works best and works for you - and recognizing what the plants like...

Yes I reduce amount by basically doing a percentage of the recommended dosage per gallon. But you could work it out by adding extra water - with 1 gallon with a 100% dose of nutrient water, if you add another gallon of plain water it's now at 50% nute strength....Just make sure you know how much...

Keep in mind, for the no flushing, I don't give them all sorts of multi mix of nutrients with extra additives... Only cal/mag (I'm in coco), a sibgle nute for veg and another for flower. And I do reduce the dosage towards the end, but so the plants does consume its stored sugars. Exactly when...

It looks like your fans are just sitting inside the box to move air around. Do you actually vent anything out of the box and suck in air to exchange it at all?

At least don't knock fem seeds for newbies. Garanteed fem is a huge plus for a first grow. And for autos, with regular seeds on your first grow, where most start small with 1-2 plants, i calculate an average of almost 10 weeks just to sex the plants - i imagine most new growers would flower...
