That is correct, however the CMH provides that spectrum, just because it cannot be seen doesn't mean it is not there. HPS has a higher lumen output so penetration may be better, but i've also heard CMH has a better PAR rating which may outweigh the lumen output. Who knows, I just like to try...

In veg yes, so far I have not seen as vigerous flowering as i did with 2x600w HID. Hell of a lot cheaper on my electricity bill though! And much cooler in the room.

Waited a while to update, wanted to show some pics with buds :) Yeah i got some nute burn going on, and some tops being burned by the light. laying off the nutes and not vegging for so long next time. Let me know what you think.
