I think around ~$120 for all the totes/lids. Significantly cheaper than the under current buckets at the grow shop. However, I may switch over to those next cycle. I overlooked the height of these totes, and am worried about root space, I'll have to keep cutting them down so they don't reach the...
My whole home humidifier was broke. It's now sitting in the 55% range, and can add more with a portable humidifier. Will try and keep them at a 60-70 range during veg!
I have not grown under LEDs like these before. They don't put off a ton of heat. I have a sensor that sits on top of one of the...
Hey everyone, after a long hiatus, I decided to start growing again. I've built up a DIY RDWC system, and am new to this method (used Aero NFT in the past).
I started a batch of autoflower seeds while I wait for my mothers to provide cuttings. Berry Ryder and Hijack, both sprouted within a few...
I posted up a link for an offshore manufacturer that makes the Advanced DS, and Penetrator lights. The manufacturer told me yes they do make lights for both companies. I simply asked the legitimacy of this because the lights are less than half the price and the pictures are the same exact...
Well, I left for the weekend, temps got too hot and root rot set in :(. Ladies and mothers gone. Needless to say, I had a backup mother at a friends house and picked some new clones. It's going to be a while but I will start another journal as soon as those root.
sucha bummer, these ladies...
That is correct, however the CMH provides that spectrum, just because it cannot be seen doesn't mean it is not there. HPS has a higher lumen output so penetration may be better, but i've also heard CMH has a better PAR rating which may outweigh the lumen output. Who knows, I just like to try...
I'm using the expert line of General Hydro. I think it is the florablend and the organic base that is making all the gunk. I'm switching to advanced next round. Want to see if the hype is true.
Also, have you tried CMH in flower? The spectrum on the bulbs are intense, suppose to be great for...
In veg yes, so far I have not seen as vigerous flowering as i did with 2x600w HID. Hell of a lot cheaper on my electricity bill though! And much cooler in the room.
Moving my journal to this site as there is a larger user base. I started with the 400w CMH and the 357 Magnum on a light rail. Eventually the 9 plants got a lot bushier and I felt the need to add in the Blackstar 240. All on a light mover to promote even growing and an even distribution of light...
alright, i have finally harvested :). i got ok yields but i think i let them get a bit too tall for the room, a few plants where stealing most of the light.
i decided to get a light mover and the growzilla dual bulb reflector. going to use MH and HPS all the way through. Will be posting pics...
Waited a while to update, wanted to show some pics with buds :)
Yeah i got some nute burn going on, and some tops being burned by the light. laying off the nutes and not vegging for so long next time.
Let me know what you think.
