so with the australian summer just around the corner and electricity prices already so high. whats your method of growing around this time of year? air conditioning? or did you plan ahead to have a summer stash ready to not create a hot house.

so continuing on with my paranoia.. i believe in most states hydroponic growing is illegal. but what do you think would be the case of aquaponic grows. technically it isnt a dirt grow or a hydroponic grow. :idea:

I'd love to but my main concern is to do with the people i live with and them being suspicious when certain fragrances start to develop. from what i've gathered aquaponics increases some scents as well! Anyone got an idea on what to plant which wouldn't smell like a dead give away?

I'm no pro when it comes to smoking and have never grown, i'm just very interested in this grow because i've got a little aquaponic knowledge and well.. to have my own little stash one day would be nice. I've had some experience with other plants grown aquaponically where they have gone brittle...

so whats the verdict? does it smoke/smell/grow better?

i'm relatively new to aquaponics but have had a fishtank for years and thought why not make the most of it. i've only been successful with basil using a floating raft system, recently upgraded to a NFT style so hoping it will work a lot better considering my fish were munching on the basil roots...

G'day! I'm wondering if there is anyone else on here from Australia to ask where they get their lights and seeds from.. I've been thinking bunnings for some big CFLs, but not sure if I should just stick to the ones from the local hydroponic store. thx
