Autos really are getting better and better. I have also bee seeing some get huge when grown in waterfarms and things like that with rapid growth.

From what I read 15% THC was about the best, the best autos could achieve in the past, but the newer ones are supposed to be up around the 20% mark, as far as throwing unsubstantiated figures around goes. LOL

I've never grown an auto, so I may be shitcanning them soon, but I'm sure looking forward to the end result... :bigjoint:

Yeh, I made a post with a few deal on ebay that I thought were quite nice for the price. As im setting up my first room I dont want to go overboard on prices for equipment and 90% of people said everthing I posted was rubbish and they all directed me to Amazon, but the shipping is through the roof. I think for a first timer they would be fine and like you said, 2 years and havnt skipped a beat...

The way I see it. Buy it cheap when you start out. Then as things break replace them one by one with better quality.

If it never breaks then you got out of it cheap and if it does break oh well it was only cheap move on to something better.

Thats how I look at it anyway.

hello all,

i've tried searching this thread but it is pretty huge and i've been not very successful..

never grown plants of this type before but thinking I might try as i've been successful growing others aquaponically.

don't really have big bucks to invest but have researched to find that the lights i currently use are no good for flowering (14000k aquarium lights)

I'm thinking some growlush CFL's as theyre only $35 including the holders, does anyone have some cheaper suggestions? maybe from bunnings?

also anyone wanting to give away some seeds haha (one can only hope)

thanks

hey runitback. really glad to have you here. the grow lush cfls will do an ok job for a smaller grow/ beginner grow but i feel you will outgrow them rather quickly and want to move on to something bigger. i have never tried cfl's so i cant offer too much help[ but i have seen some pretty decent grows using cfl's.

stoked to hear you are into aquaponics. you going to be growing the MJ in the aquaponics? im curently attempting this but its my first adventure in aquaponics and its taking me a bit to get used to. cant seem to get anything to grow yet? just added another larger fish today. im hoping that will kick it into gear a little.

i'm relatively new to aquaponics but have had a fishtank for years and thought why not make the most of it. i've only been successful with basil using a floating raft system, recently upgraded to a NFT style so hoping it will work a lot better considering my fish were munching on the basil roots which definitely didnt help with their growth.

the plan is to go aquaponically, i've seen some people have a huge amount of success, if this is going to happen i'd probably do a scrog as my grow box on top of my tank isnt too big.

Ive used them before with great success but only problem ive found is they chew alot more power than a quality brand ..

What about the cheap digitals?
Ive used cheap growlush digitals and they consumed more power than a quality brand... Just cause its digital doesnt mean it runs at 400w 600w or 1000 ... The more quality the brand the close to 400w 600w 100w and more effiecent.
