Hey man, to switch to flower you adjust the light cycle from being on for 18 hours a day to only 12 hours. Make sure the 12 hours of darkness is uninterrupted or you will have hermies. As for when to flower it depends on your space. A longer veg will be a larger plant... try flowering around 4 weeks or 12 inches for a good starting point.
