Fem seeds.

That's great. Was your first grow using coco? My title should have been better, and I have now edited it. I see a lot of new growers having issues with coco for some of the same reasons you list as benefits. > >

I can agree with that. I guess all of the research I did before starting my (soil) grow suggested holding off on nutes until week 3-4. And even then start at 1/4 strength. Not sure how it could get any easier for a 1st time grower. > >

I ask because I don't know. I see a lot of new growers having issues with coco. What are the advantages of coco over a good soil? I will probably always be a soil grower because my job sometimes requires me to be out of town for 2-3 days. I can usually plan for this and adjust my...

I missed that the first time around. I agree, it would be better to go with a fem. Maybe even a nice short auto fem.

I don't think so. Start them both. If one turns out to be male, remove it. If they are both female, but you only have room to grow 1, keep your best looking plant. If they are both male, that is just bad luck.

Might be tough getting seeds from a male. :)

Get them out of there. Once they crack, the only thing left for them to do under water is drown.

Run your index finger along the side of your face next to your ear.. Use that finger to "mix" the water. The small amount of oil will reduce the surface tension of the water and you will get more sinkers.

Let's say a female plant is showing traits you like, so you take a few clones. You reverse one of the clones with CS and use it to pollinate one of the other clones. Is this a good idea? Or will this somehow be genetically messed up?

Why are you doing a pc box grow if you plan to leave it half open?

Not sure. This order was the same size as my last one (small).
