No you're absolutely correct it is a 600 watt HPS bulb I know I should be using MH bulb I just got a really really good deal on four high quality HPS bulbs so I went for it and I have grown straight from veg all the way through flower with them no problem before but I know MH just preferred...

The leaves are pointed up a little bit towards the light so it might be a light issue my light is only a 600 w and it's about 18 inches away from the top of the canopy which should be sufficient but every strain is different I do not have a lux meter but I do have a hygrometer and my humidity...
