I think the Epsom salts and iron tablets helped, new growth on the better plant looks good, but it seems like it's just a shade lighter green than it should be, and the other one just seems to have all but stopped growing. The CoCo just below the surface is still moist so I have stopped watering at all, and I wonder if my pH was off, then perhaps the moisture in the CoCo is the wrong pH and the roots are being affected by this. I'll know more concerning the pH once I get the digital pH meter I ordered and if the pH of the nute mixture I've been using is off, then perhaps the pH of the moisture in the CoCo can be corrected over time. And I never really thought about nutes except for AN being not for marijuana, but that makes total sense. Thanks so much for the help, I really appreciate it. I think you're right, I got some Epsom salts for the magnesium and the only thing I had for extra iron was an iron tablet I crushed into a fine powder and dissolved that in water. I watered them with water/Epsom salt/iron tablet and have now stopped everything so as not to over water, it's barely moist under the surface. I'm growing in CoCo and how bizarre, CoCo has nothing whatsoever, I give them nutes and they burn! Maybe the trick is to give them nutes like once a week then water only being careful not to over water. And you're also right, it is a weed, I must be over doing it. Thanks for the reply, sounds like you've got a great set up. I'm growing two Mama Mia's which are a mostly Indica strain. The main problem I'm having is yellow leaves. One plant seems to be fine but the lower leaves get yellow from the edges in, then the edges get burnt and the leaf dies. A digital pH meter is what I need but have the Gen Hydro test kit for the moment. I'm using Walmart drinking water which has a pH of 6 and 0 PPM if my TDS meter is OK and I think it is. I just now adjusted the pH just below 6 in hopes that would help but was previous adjusting to about 6.5 which I now think was wrong. Enough research will show so many opinions you don't know what is right! I want to use the Gen Hydro feed schedule but some say to only do half strength, I just cut back last night but don't want to risk a deficiency if that's what the yellowing is but I don't want nute burn either but may be pH. I just want to smoke, eventually! Any advice would be appreciated for sure.

This is my first grow, I've got a grow tent that's 4' x 4' x 6.5' tall, with 4 - 4 foot high output flourescents, with a 4" Grow Bright exhaust fan and carbon filter, a thermostat outlet with a small electric heater plugged into it to keep the temperature above 77 deg, a small fan, and a vaporizer and small fan blowing into the steam to spread it around (so it doesn't concentrate and blow a light!) hooked up to a timer that turns on and off (right now on 15 min per hour) to keep the humidity up with the low humidity weather now. That set seems to be working pretty good to keep the ventilation, temp, and humidity within specification.

I was going to write more, but these conversations are only limited to 1000 characters, but we'll keep talkin'!
