Is This From Too Much Heat?

From what I've read it means they are trying to perspire more. So would improved circulation help this? No I'm not using CO2. The air temp is good, so could this be happening because they are too close to the hot bulb?

Is This From Too Much Heat?

These are under an aircooled light, but because of restrictions I have to keep it about a foot away from the canopy. Does this look like this is because of heat or too much light? The temp in the room never gets above 80 though I can feel some heat close to the light.

How can I dim my grow light?

My light is aircooled though not as effectively as it could be. Should I be able to put an aircooled 400w light a foot away from rooted clones without harming them?

How can I dim my grow light?

The way my room is set up I have to keep a 400W light about a foot or so above freshly rooted clones and they don't look happy about it. Can I plug the ballast into a dimmer or should I look for a screen to put over the light? Or do I need to change up my grow room?

I can't figure out what's wrong! Need help, Pics included.

Just talked to my roommate and he said the plants are perking up now that he watered them. My timer does weird things so I think that was the problem.

I can't figure out what's wrong! Need help, Pics included.

Well I've always added about 30 ml of h202 to the reservoir every few days. If he's been over doing it could that be the problem?

I can't figure out what's wrong! Need help, Pics included.

I told him to flood the table and see how the plants react to that. I check the ph using a tester kit and haven't had any problems with that in 2 years of growing. From what he's telling me the ph has at least been close to right so I can't imagine that that is the problem. It's been almost 2...

I can't figure out what's wrong! Need help, Pics included.

My roommate is watching these plants for me and I don't know what he's doing wrong :wall:. He says the ph and nutrients are good, they are being watered every 3 hours (in a flood table). My only guess is that it's overwatering (is that even possible in hydroton?) so I told him to water every 5...

Massive spill in my second floor grow room! What do i do!?!?

Thanks I needed a little reassurance. The downstairs neighbors still haven't seen any water damage so I think it's going to be fine. Lesson learned though.

Massive spill in my second floor grow room! What do i do!?!?

Well I meant it is dry to the touch. I don't think there's much I'm able to do besides leave the carpet out and the fans running (someone mentioned heat and light encourage mold growth). I bought some enzyme treatment stuff that's supposed to nuetralize mold and mildew. Not sure if it's much...

Massive spill in my second floor grow room! What do i do!?!?

Are you talking about the sheetrock in the walls below the grow room? Those are in my neighbors garage so I don't really have access to them. For now everything I can see is dry: a 6x7 foot area of carpet and underlay that was all drenched, as well as the wood boards that were underneath. My...

Massive spill in my second floor grow room! What do i do!?!?

The carpet might have saved me since it absorbed so much of the water. Do you think I should keep it in as a back up to whatever waterproofing I put on top of it?

Massive spill in my second floor grow room! What do i do!?!?

After pulling the carpets and running lights/fans on the wood it now feels bone dry. The water seeped past the wall to the carpet in the next room. So it seems like the water spread out more than in went downward. Anyway, are you saying that I should keep everything running for the next few days...

Massive spill in my second floor grow room! What do i do!?!?

I pulled out the carpet and the foamy stuff and threw it on the roof to dry. Now I'm running 1000W of light and a couple fans on the wood stuff beneath. Someone mentioned I should keep that going even after it feels dry. Any guesses on how long I should do that for?

Massive Spill In My Second Floor Grow Room! What Do I Do?!

Thanks everyone. I pulled out the carpet and the foam underneath and threw it on the roof to dry. I'll leave the fans and 1000W of lights on the floor for awhile. Any guess on how long I should keep that going?

Massive spill in my second floor grow room! What do i do!?!?

Luckily I can move my setup into my roommates closet for now. I have an extra 600W and 400W light that I plan to place close to the floor along with fans. Any idea how long I should run that stuff before I put the carpet back in?

Massive spill in my second floor grow room! What do i do!?!?

I pulled the carpet up and that foamy stuff underneath is drenched too. Anything I can do besides dry all that stuff out and pray that nothing gets to moldy downstairs?

I've been trying to laugh about it myself. I told them that the toilet overflowed :-P

Massive Spill In My Second Floor Grow Room! What Do I Do?!

K thanks. What I'm really concerned about is where all that water could have gone. I had a layer of trashbags over the carpet, and the carpet doesn't seem as wet as should be. I'm guessing that it pushed all the water towards the walls and it leaked down from there. Is that going to fuck shit up...
