More in-depth on Building soil and no till

I really enjoy his videos actually and have been trying to watch as many as I can. The other thing I have recently read is how well water that’s in area with high limestone contains high amounts of cal. So between using rain water and well water I think the best corse of action would be to...

More in-depth on Building soil and no till

So for watering we were thinking of using a blumats system. That way it’s more automated. I agree the potential for some truly amazing soil is possible and is not out of the question which is why we will be trying some in ground as well. The area that we live in has some very unique clay soil...

More in-depth on Building soil and no till

We were also going to try some in the ground as well, and we also have a field we are going to be growing in. The reasoning for using fabric pots is because the soil type we have here. It’s predominantly clay, which isn’t ideal for cannabis. However we are going to try and see how well it does...

More in-depth on Building soil and no till

Hello everyone, I’m starting this thread so I can have a more in-depth understanding about building soil and the amendments I’m going to use. Also hoping to help others who might have questions. My understanding of organic growing mainly stems from rudimentary soil building and using subs super...

No till in 100 gallon fabric pot in 4x4 tent

@Northwood do you have any experience with auto flowers? Would they still grow root structures in a notill that are similar to photoperiod mean wider vs deep even tho they depend on their taproot to determine height?

container size for auto flowers in a no till grow

hello all, so my question is a pretty simple one. generally in a no till grow, photoperiod plant roots will grow wider then deep so having a wider grow bag then deep often times is ideal. however auto flowers are more dependent on their taproot for their over all size.( do their roots also...

Question about flowering clones and super soil

Hey I super appreciate that! Would you say if I’m running 1 gallon or 3 gallon smart pots, that a no till wouldn’t be ideal? My thought was to have a container that I would keep atleast half the total amount of soil of my flowering pots that I could keep with perhaps a cover crop like clover...

Question about flowering clones and super soil

The whole point would be to have a water only mix so when I recycle my soil after each harvest I can add some dry amendments to tweak it so it’s exactly what I would need.

Question about flowering clones and super soil

☺️ I appreciate that, I do have a grasp on using dry amendments and I’ve made my own super soil in the past but I’ve never make it for a perpetual grow like I listed above so that’s why I was wondering which way to go.

Question about flowering clones and super soil

So let’s say someone were to want a perpetual SOG grow where every two weeks they would take 4 clones and let those root for 14 day, then veg those for another 2 weeks then take those and put them in the flowering tent for 8 weeks (8 week strains) so that every two weeks they were harvesting 4...

Question regarding flowering clones, and super soil.

So my question is this. If someone had set up a perpetual grow so basically it would be set up like this. 2 or 4 mother plants. Every two weeks they would take clones, let them root for 14 days, then once they had established a root system, veg them for 14 days, then throw them into the...
