    thats ok its not a sock. if you buy a dehumidifier it will raise the heat so watch out for that. Also remember to empty it regularly. dehumidifiers usually don't last too long so the better you care for it the longer it will last.

    I would suggest running at least your outlet fan 24/7 this will help humidity the most. if you want your filter to work properly you will have to bring the humidity down. there are other ways of affecting smell with sprays or gels but I don't think any of these work incredibly well. your best...
