The plant looks like it has plenty of leaves from your picture. I would say better than letting them spread. How many nodes to you have? 5 main fans might not be an issue if you have secondary leaves developed

Yeah my plants are actually starting to smell a little, but not like weed. When I get home from work I can definitely smell a new scent in the house, but it isn't weed. It more just smells like plants. As if I had an attached greenhouse lol
