Ok so i have a light socket that i have had a 24 watt CFL plugged into in my grow room....no ive noticed that they sell a 50watt 3200k MH bulb .... so is there anything stopping me from putting a 50watt MH bulb in this spare socket?

Recently i moved out of a rental house on 1.2 acres and into an apartment. I moved my grow with me but now i am faced with a problem. I harvested my three 3ft tall plants and now have two plastic shopping bags full of trimmings.... what do you guys do? I dont want to put them in the dumpster...
