Purkles 1st 400w MH/HPS Grow - Blue Cheese, White Widow, Great White Shark

Everything is harvested! The first (7oz wet) batch came out to 1.65 oz dried I harvested and I'm drying the other two plants now. The biggest plant yielded 13.6 oz WET, the other yielded 8.15 oz WET. So, two of my plants smell fairly similar (spicy/skunky), and the third plant smells WAY...

The stuff drying right now has a smell that reminds me of the rind off of a watermelon. It's very strange.

Purkles 1st 400w MH/HPS Grow - Blue Cheese, White Widow, Great White Shark

Hey everyone! It's been a long time and I had a lot of errors along the way, but I harvested the first plant today. I'm said to say I'm not sure what is what, but this isn't the biggest one (The biggest plant is at least twice as big. Maybe more). The third plant is the smallest and isn't ready...

    Update: Browning along veins etc.

Thanks LJ. I believe I've found my problem... My PH meter is way the fuck off. I figured my nutes, watering, and temps were all perfect, and I'm using brand new bags of Ocean Forest, so it had to be a PH issue. I decided I'd test the meter in some milk, figuring it should read right at 6.7...

    Update: Browning along veins etc.

I'm back, thanks for all the help so far. 400w hps Just finished Week 5 Flower 12/12 Fox Farms Nutes every other water (Tiger Bloom/Big Bloom. Using about 3/4 strength) Watering about every 3 days (by weight) Using PH Down to get my water to about 6.5-6.8 Let water sit for 48 hours before...

    yellowing along veins? Necrotic spots.

The plant looks pretty messed up now--it got quite a bit worse. I did a flush with RO water two days ago and I'm watching to see if there is any sign of improving. Its difficult, though, because the damage is already done on a lot of the leafs, so they are only going to get worse. It makes it...

Purkles 1st 400w MH/HPS Grow - Blue Cheese, White Widow, Great White Shark

Picture uploads didn't work last time, but I'm trying again. Here's the tent (these are about a week old, everything is considerably bigger now) And finally, one of the plants (The one with the frostiest buds, unfortunately) is developing a major problem. Here are photos from a week ago...

    yellowing along veins? Necrotic spots.

Hey guys, Thanks again for the help about a month ago, things turned around great--however, one of my plants has developed a new problem. It's yellowing along the veins (not between the veins). Looking through the guide, I didn't see anything that really corresponded with it. I'm wondering if...

    Limp and starting to yellow?

One last update: Wow. Talk about a complete 180. All three plants look like they grew two inches over night (probably because they are standing at attention now). Additionally, the one super limp plant's leaves are now fully upright. The main cola was so droopy that it had fallen over on its...

Purkles 1st 400w MH/HPS Grow - Blue Cheese, White Widow, Great White Shark

After watering, the fan leafs on the droopy plant are already supporting their own weight again (within 1 to 1 and 1/2 hours). It's a huge difference. I'm so glad that it wasn't over watered and/or root rot. Additionally, I think its definitely a girl. Will keep an eye on it.

    Limp and starting to yellow?

Indeed. It's only been an hour or so and the leaves are already supporting their own weight again. It's a huge difference. I'm keeping an eye on the yellowing, but most of it seems to be undergrowth, which is to be expected.

Purkles 1st 400w MH/HPS Grow - Blue Cheese, White Widow, Great White Shark

Update: I think the wilting is due to under-watering. I'd been sticking my finger in 3-4 inches and if it felt "humid" when I pulled it out, I thought it was moist. I stuck my entire fist down the side of the pot about 3/4 to the bottom, pulled up a handful and it slid through my fingers like...

    Limp and starting to yellow?

UPDATE: Thanks everyone. I'm thinking it was thirsty. I went down and had another look. I stuck my entire hand down the side of the put (at least 3/4 of the way down) and grabbed a fistful of the soil. I pulled it up and it slid through my fingers like sand. I wouldn't call that "moist" at...

    Limp and starting to yellow?

I guess my problem is what would be considered dry? For example, the fox farms soil is a bit moist straight out of the bag. Would that be considered "dry"? I'm definitely afraid of root rot on this one.

    Limp and starting to yellow?

I'm concerned that it is too wet. I think I transplanted into pots that were too large. It seems like I can now go a week without watering and the soil still feels ever so slightly moist 3 inches down. Unfortunately, I don't think I can really fix that other than by not watering. However, I'm...

Purkles 1st 400w MH/HPS Grow - Blue Cheese, White Widow, Great White Shark

Everything was going pretty good but I've developed a few problems. One of the plants is going gangbusters, but all three have started getting some yellow fan leaves. Additionally, the third (previously the largest) plant seems to be severely stressed. It's extremely limp and I'm starting to...
