Noob LED question: what percentage light output for seedlings?

D'oh! Yes, F, not C! I'll see what I can do about raising the heat. Thanks to everyone for your advice and input!

Noob LED question: what percentage light output for seedlings?

Thanks Rocket Soul and EZ Leaves, I've used rockwool in coco at least 5 or 6 times in the past, and never had an issue. As this is my first time growing with LEDs, I figured the LED was the culprit. Very mysterious! Temps are generally around 77 C, which I always understood was pretty ideal?

Noob LED question: what percentage light output for seedlings?

PS - as the plant is still in seedling stage, the exhaust fan is timed to exhaust the tent every other hour so I can build up a little humidity. Once it starts flowering (assuming it does!) I then switch it on 24/7.

Noob LED question: what percentage light output for seedlings?

Thanks Rocket Soul, I'll be honest with you, I didn't even know what VPD was until you mentioned it and I looked it up! I'm running an oscilatting fan and inline/exhaust fan in a Diamond Box 80X80X160, Cornwall carbon filter kit 100mm/187m3, Mean Well HLG-120H-48B (my first time growing with...

Noob LED question: what percentage light output for seedlings?

Thanks SofaKingHigh, but here we are now at 16 days since germination and it's still a little runt. From previous experience using 250 HPS and the same strain, this plant should be twice the size, no? EC is now up to 1.1. I'll give it another week or so before admitting defeat unless you have...

Noob LED question: what percentage light output for seedlings?

Hello there, it's been around 5 years since my last grow (which I used to do regularly, very basic 250 HPS setup). I'm starting a new grow, using the Mean Well HLG-120H-48B (my first time growing with LEDs), keeping it about 40cm above my seedlings, with the light dimmed to around 60% of...

    Mould on my medicated butter

Yes, I usually use that container....though I just remembered that this time around I threw a couple tablespoons worth of "Vegan Block" into the dairy butter...maybe that's the culprit or, like you say, not properly sealed. Anyway, I just threw it out and wanted to vent a little bit! A lot of...

    Mould on my medicated butter

I was looking forward to making some cookies today and opened up the container where I keep my homemade medicated butter only to find...mould...black and white mould....on the surface and edges. I assume I'll have to throw it out rather than simply scrape off the mould and go ahead with my...

Germinating under CFL while drying buds above

Thanks OILL but personal circumstances mean 10 days would prove problematic. Thanks to both of you for your responses, much appreciated, and stay safe!

Germinating under CFL while drying buds above

OK FF, I'll take your "no" to mean I can safely go ahead with germinating at bottom of tent with a single CFL while drying flowers above. Thanks!

Germinating under CFL while drying buds above

I'm actually doing that right now, but find germinating under CFL to be faster and gentler (we're getting a lot of heat on the windowsill these last few days).

Germinating under CFL while drying buds above

Hello all - I'm in a position where I have flowers drying in a .75 X. 75 X 1.6m tent (they're tied upside down to top bars of tent) I'd like to germinate two seeds in the same tent, using a single CFL light (always had good results germinating this way). Question is, will the light beaming on...

    hydrolab 80 setup?

Just got this new tent (http://www.hydrolab-grow-tents.co.uk/grow-room-range.html#lab80) and am having trouble understanding how to install the intake and extraction fans...it seems I simply place the fans in the socks provided and draw the drawstrings around the edges of the fans, but it...
