RO water is the only way to go indoors. When outdoors, growing with tap water is just fine. Just my 2 cents..

If a seed doesn't pop within 10-12 days I toss them. Move on and try to find a stronger bean. This is why I always buy packs of seeds. Either a 5 pack or 10 pack.

I would say bad Idea unless you safety pin the hell out of it. When you go to water, soil will be wash out of cut. Running a knife along the side to break roots free doesn't hurt the plant much. I know guys and gals who break their root balls up a bit when they transplant to get the roots free...

If it was bud rot it would be brown on the inside of the bud along the stem. This bud looks fine to me with no rot that I can see of in the pictures.

*I re-use my indoor soil and it works prefect every time. I would check out TLO growing style or making your own super soil. You can re-amend your soil and use it over and over again.

Yes the Cal/Mag will be needed. Unless you find something to add to your soil mix that will add Cal/Mag for you. I do this so no Cal/Mag is needed. Be careful with it cause it will burn the fuck out of your ladies.

Whats the PH lvl on tap water ? Try to find RO water around town. You can buy RO water cheap from Walmart. Looks like you might have a CowMag lag.
