At what time during the flowering period, does the little white crystals start to appear on the buds and leaves. Does the strain of the plant have anything to do with the amount of crystals that are on the bud?

yea they are!, i didn't have enough lights while in the veg stage.

How do they look? - got 8x 23w 2700k cfl (6 on top, 2 at the bottom), about 12000+ lumens over a 30"x40"x30" box - 10-15-10 schultz liquid plant food

lols, well i want to make a DWC system. I kinda got the idea down but still confused on some things. I would still need 2x rubbermaid? (one for the plants and one for the res), will the plants be submerged in water all the time? those are it for now =D

I'm almost done my first grow and is thinking of switching to hydro. What are the materials needed to start one up. This is what i know; - 2x rubbermaid container (house the plants, res?) - 1x water pump - 2x air stones - misters am i missing anything?

If i were to trim/prune the smalls leaves and branches at the bottom of the plant will that give me a bigger bud?

i grew them at the same time, but some are taking longer then others to show their sex.
