How I see it is you spend more money on a good led light which doesn't need a ventilation system its more efficient and has a longer life expectancy then a HID lamp. I've seen some amazing grows with LEDs that can put out just as much or even more than a HID system.

The CFLs I'm using are 2700k spectrum which meets flowing spectrum which is 1500-3000.

My LEDs are blue red and while to meet both spectrums. The CFLs were day light bulbs for veg then swapped out with soft light bulbs for flowing. I'm pretty sure I have the correct spectrum. The LEDs are up to spread light across the tops of three plants. If I were to drop it any the top nodes...
