Need help with teas. Using GEM

I recently began experimenting with compost teas. I am completely new to all of it, as you could imagine I have lots of questions. I have been using dragonfly earth medicine with worm casting cal/mag and molasses in fox farm soils. The last grow was with salamander which I did not have great...

    Need help. Purple leaves.

The only other plant that I have grown with these notes was purple trainwreck. It came out phenomenal. I'm really liking the tea. I'm pretty sure my problem was the no feed or water for a week. The only transplant I've done was right after it popped out of the soil. The grow is a scrog. I...

    Need help. Purple leaves.

Thanks bud! I'm new to the soil as well. Wanted to try something new that held water better. I was using a sealed box so I could use controlled co2 but my soil would release to much moisture and cause the humidity to be outrageous. This soil helped it out. I'm not using co2 on this grow and it's...

    Need help. Purple leaves.

This will be my second time using a tea. I brew my tea for up to 48 hours. After 4 days my pot is fairly dry. I don't really have much run off. The plant is in a 3 gallon smart pot sitting on a tray. I do remember having this problem with the last plant. My ph meter broke so I have not used it...

    Need help. Purple leaves.

Its obvious that my plant has a nutrient deficiency. I am currently growing a mandarin cookies. The plant is in fox farm salamander soil and I'm feeding a tea. It's a combination of dragonfly earth medicine, worm casting, molasses and a teaspoon of cal/mag. Only feeding half gallon every 4 days...

I'm building a 2x2.5 grow box using 4 36v cxb3590 setup. Im new to COB lights. Ive seen amazing results using COB set ups so i planned giving the a try on my small scrog. The plan so far is to use 4 6500k dd bin for veg then swapping them out with 4 2700k bb bin for flowering. Would a mix be...

    Mini fridge light setup

WOW just realized they were running at 90w. The only down fall with the vero 18 is the spectrum selection. With all my research and experience ive found 2700k is perfect for flowering and 6400k for veg. Vero 18 only offers a 3000k and a 3500k that ive found. The 3000k would work great for...

Thanks a lot for that link! That saved me a bunch of time. Im thinking 2 vero 29s for veg then changing up the spectrum and using 4, three on top and one on the side. Power efficient ✅ controllable heat ✅ pocket size mini suns✅ Moster bubs ❗I'm stoked! Ill post pictures once complete.

    Mini fridge light setup

This route sounds promising. Ive done a little research on building my own light system using bridgelux vero 29 COBs. I guess i need to just jump in all the way and figure out everything i need. Ive seen amazing results from them. Thanks a lot for the advice!

    Mini fridge light setup

Do you suggest a certain brand? I've never used cob lights. I've been leaning towards led. Mine run at 105°f . I could always cut a hole on the top of the fridge and use a gasket and homemade bracket to seal the light to the fridge. Id only get heat from the glass of the led which the fridge can...

    Mini fridge light setup

outdoor grow with happy frog potting soil. need suggestions!

Wow! that thing is massive man! very impressed. What did you feed that thing? Should I dump my nutes in my main tote and just feed it with every watering? I have a soil ph meter, water ph meter and a ppm meter to make sure everything stays on track.

    buds are small!! need help

How I see it is you spend more money on a good led light which doesn't need a ventilation system its more efficient and has a longer life expectancy then a HID lamp. I've seen some amazing grows with LEDs that can put out just as much or even more than a HID system.

    buds are small!! need help

My LEDs are blue red and while to meet both spectrums. The CFLs were day light bulbs for veg then swapped out with soft light bulbs for flowing. I'm pretty sure I have the correct spectrum. The LEDs are up to spread light across the tops of three plants. If I were to drop it any the top nodes...
