Anyone ever have any luck with using only peat moss and perlite as a medium? I'm just curious since I haven't really seen a lot of grows posted that was just peat moss. Seems that mostly people just add it to the soil mix. So, Anyone want to share some info? :bigjoint:

last grow i was using about 400w of CFL the temps in the area (4x4x2) only got up to 80-82 degrees. So i was wondering if a 400w HPS would be hotter or the same temps?

Just wondering if you guys have any testimonials about using a MH Conversion. I understand it's probably not as good as a real MH lamp but I wonder if the conversion will make as big of a difference as compared to Veg'ing only with an HPS.

Got some soil laying around from some plants that turned male. Kept the soil, got rid of the males...so i'm thinking about my next grow and was wondering if the soil can be re-used. and if so what's the best way to treat it to get rid of any bugs/disease in the soil....i would just go buy new...

I've heard people do this before harvest to increase the resin production but I couldn't find any posts in the Grow FAQ or by doing a search for it. Anyone know if its worth the effort and if so how long do you have to not water the soil before harvest?
