Does that price include the ballast? If it does I would be wary as that is ridiculously cheap and you get what you pay for.

What the size of cabinet/tent are you using?

T5's don't generate that much heat so your inline fan should get rid of any excess heat. Just make sure you have good air circulation

If your only going to be growing a 3x3 or 2x4 1000W would be excessive. I would look at a 315CMH above a Viperspectra. Don't really trust Chinese made full systems LED's especially when they slap on 600W when it's only a 285W draw

Would those be a bit too big? the smaller ones will have a lot of surface contact with each other trapping some water but also doing a better job of protecting your roots from direct light

You are going to have to give us more information. How are you planning to grow and what sort of time scale are you looking at? At either end of the spectrum you could veg out trees and only keep four plants or you could go Sea of green and grow 4 plants per square foot.

There a few ways to do a setup that can be left for a week. I've seen people leave RDWC systems for over a week without hassle or a top fed DTW system with a large reservoir. Whatever way you decide to go test it out for the three days before you go to make sure all the timers are running...

Four is very doable but your room dimensions are going to be a pain. If you pack the plants in at 4 feet wide your only giving yourself a foot either side to move around and work which is a very tight work space

Is it to hold everything up? I normally use a double layer of netting for this purpose. It just helps with support. One at about two feet and another at 4 feet.

I've never had a problem putting a MH bulb in a HPS ballast. In fact my old Sun system trifecta ballasts have a little switch for MH and HPS

That's extracting a lot of heat from the light but there's more heat being generated in the room. You're going to need a second extraction to remove that. A grower who uses cooled hoods still needs to cool the rest of the room it just takes less cooling then an open hood system

The lucas formula simplifies the system for you and provides everything a plant needs. If at the moment you have all three you might as well use them and switch over when you finish your supply of the grow bottle
