you probably should go to at least a 3 gal. thats the smallest i would go because your bud doesnt like its roots to be bound and should be able to stretch out and network as they please.

im growing in some.......1.23g

and I really don't care if my plant is short as long as I get some bud

but if you want more from your plant you should go bigger

mine are 2-3 feet tall and they are in 2 liter bottles with the head cut off or large mcdonalds or hardees cups. i thought they would stop growin a while back but they are still gettin bigger.

i use 3l pots and ive had sucess. about 14gr is the most ive gotten but i pack them 4per sq foot. which is a pretty good average. ive also flowered clones as soon as roots showed and ended up with 12-16in tall plants between 7-10gr per plant. but if you want 1oz use 8-10" pots

well if you want to achieve this you have to change your plan a little.. first start off your seedlings in a little styrofoam cup and grow till rout bound like 6" then plant in say like a large party cup and grow till about 10" then switch to your flower pot and put them on 12/12 ...

you can use a one gallon pot if you want to, youll just have a really small plant. Id say get atleast 12L pots.

1 gallon pots are fine though. You wont have gianourmous plants but you will still be able to pull some good yield from a 1 gallon. I was getting 2 zips off 1 gallons dry.

You can use 1 gal. pots but keep in mind that as it matures it will dry out pretty quick. Smaller pots have to be watered more often.

tha'ts how I tell if my babies are root bound... serious root bound will be very clear ... especially if you water in the morning when the light comes on and it's bone dry by the time the light goes off.. ya she's root bound... I dont recomend growing in 1 gal pots unless you flower from a 2-4" veg... and even then I dont recomend it. just because of the taproot not having enough room to grow it will definately cut down on the amount of bud and how dense your buds are...

your probably right, i finally just took the "main" stalk out of my 1-gallon pot ( i should of took a picture) and the root ball was only 1/2 filled in the pot.......NOW had i had some more "stronger" root system i probably would have reached my 10oz wet goal.....:-P

thanks for not calling me a liar :fire:

Peace
