wanting to see what you guys yield from a 1 gallon pot in coco. lots of mixed responses. i have always used 3-5 gallon containers for coco. my buddy runs straight coco, in 1 gallon pots SOG method and pulls 3-5 ounces per plant. 18 plants under each light. these numbers are nuts to me!

thats very good numbers in soil. how often did you have to water them? and what was your veg time?
I was watering every other day where my 3 gallons I was watering twice a week with one being a feed. I also vegged her for just over 6 weeks. I don't really go by weeks in veg time. I go by the size of the plant so I can calculate and get an idea of where they'll be after flowering stretch.

4 pounds per light sounds a little out there lol
A good SOG, done properly....

600w HID
4x4 tent
64 plant SOG
Yield: per plant average of 32 g = 2048 g

Damn close.

Those were flipped at 8 inch's.
Flip at 12 and it would have beaten that 4lbs per 1 light easy, peasy.

There is a guy on here who can hit 13. Yes I said 13!
This guy builds custom RDWC units and used to post here quite a bit... He's supplied many pics of just that. 12 to over 13lbs per light. (1K DE)

The first one was grown in a 1 gallon fabric pot. The others were grown in 3 liter pots. I got a couple zips off of each plant. If I had vegged them another week or two 3 -5 zips would easily be possible.

those plants are wicked. nicely done!

Once my current crop is finished , next run I’ll try this. With a few variations tho.

my count is only 49 so I’ll use 48 instead of 64 and they will be under proper diy led fixture.

ive been wanting to run a sog table for a bit, I’ve seen you mention this method and final numbers a few times now and im blown away. Gotta try it for myself.

So with it being only 48 instead of 64, I assume we flip at 12” to achieve better numbers.

do you happen to know for any good journals, YouTube vids or articles with these types of grows? I’m gonna want to do as much reading and watching as possible leading up to this.

Just do a google search for "sea of green guide" You'll return enough links to keep you busy reading for the next week.

You must use a strain that is a high yielding strain.
Things like cookies, Dos I dos, etc. Won't get you there.
I used G-13 from Dr. Greenthumb seeds.
In a later run it was a Bomb seeds strain - An Indica strain. Don't have my notes, as they are being transcribed into digital by an employee. So I don't remember the strain.
Suggestions for strain:

Chronic - Serious seeds
Pineapple Express - G13 labs
Critical Mass - Mr Nice

UPDATE: You know what? After going out and harvesting a personal stash, Snowball....
I bet that 2 ft plant will yield 4 zips easy....

Snowball - ETHOS

Perfect for this application!
I have a short running pheno that only gets about 2-2.5 ft tall.
This thing makes SUPER dense buds of LARGE size.
The whole plant can turn into 1 big ass bud - On each branch. Even the main stem is coated with buds - inside the main branching.

Now this is a pheno I hunted out when this strain first came out...

I understand now. They only give out limited clones of this strain at shows....
