1 gram per watt

I am dealing with a grow room consultant and he told me we shouldn't have any problems getting at least 1 gram per watt using under current systems, 1000 watt lights, and a blue dream pheno they say yields amazing. How realistic is this? Rep for help.

obviously there are a lot of variables other than g.room setup and wattage. have you employed any training or cropping methods (lst, scrog, top, supercropping?)
how long are you vegging for? are you using any end-cycle boosters or sweeteners?
a picture would help.

newbi ? you will NOT get 1gpw. no way no how . 1 year plus experience . . and using co2 then mabe . not a lot of people get 1gpw. if so they have once or twice . some people get it but not many .

1gpw is pretty difficult, especially if youre doing a bunch of lights ( growers who have a small amount of wattage can dote over their little setups and train a perfect canopy with the small square footage). The times I have seen grows that people claim they hit 1gpw, there was a lot of shaded out lower fluffy buds that were part of the final tally, stuff that might bring down the overall bag appeal a bit if you know what I mean.

It can be done for sure, but for anything over a couple lights it would be hard to consistently hit that number and keep quality up.

Gram per watt is a doable standard. If your open to doing what your consultant advises you should enjoy excellent yields.

My biggest issue as a consultant myself is customers that don't follow advice.

I do gram per watt of flowering HID all day long. So I know what it takes. I have had strains do better and occasionally some worse. Overall averages being important.

you'd be a better grower than I, I've never reached one gram per watt, not really even close. The caveat being I grow in soil, and NOT for yields. But pretty sure even if I tried I couldn't.
kudos to snapsprovolon for his success, that's impressive.
I usually get around 700-800 grams with 1200 watts.
My strains aren't HUGE yielders though, it's just for me, so taste and quality are more important than numbers. If I had a monocrop of a beefy indica hybrid, maybe I could, but I like to grow nine plants (three different strains) under two 600w lights one MH and one HPS, normally I like to use 1800 watts with 1 2/1 ratio of HPS to MH, but right now I can't. With 1800 I can harvest a TOP quality KG. including the small buds I can do 1200g, I just count the hard nugs from the colas though.
I can safely say that if I get .75 grams per watt, i'm a happy camper.
that'd be 900 grams on a 1200 w setup, also keep in mind that the MH hurts my yield too (but NOT the end-results)

We are using co2 and they are coming to check the crop once a week so we can make sure we do everything correctly.

You a canopy area limit grow? If not on a count but rather a square footage limitation then labor intensive and veg intensive trees are going to yield less per year than a proper SoG.
