Shit, it has GOT to be possible!
I mean, if someone like bmeat can cross a basil plant with a cannabis plant, we can definitely do this!
I call bullshit on that, basil can not pollinate MJ, or vice versa - you'd have to do a genetic splice in a 500million dollar + lab to try to make it work. Bmeat's stories are to be taken with a grain of salt.

One can never tell, figured I'd clarify that on the offchance you'd hit the bong and found 'new insight' into anything bmeat had said... hahahaha

his mutant plant was great, should be in a sticky of 'what not to do'

Lmfao. Trust me bro, I'm one of the ones following his posts to stop the plague of misinformation that he's giving out.
But I see where you're coming from. Being high, one might mistake his plant for a very, very unhealthy basil plant!

Looks like a cross between an aloe, a nute burned rubber plant, and some other crap... but it's definitely unhealthy.

Maybe you should add cow shit to the mix as well.
For Black Christ man, his plant looks like it got crossed with all of that and cow shit! Maybe his human urine "nutes" and his STD carrying friend, Herman had something to do with it

... would say his mutation definitely had some rubber tree plant in it, and I wholeheartedly agree on the cow shit + urine surprise for it, as well.

You are young right? LOL What you find with years of experience is you simply can not do everything yourself. Life is to short :( So eventually you have to learn from others. While googling and searching the forum gives information, as ninjabowler said it's fun to watch along as someone tries something you are interested in. You have time to talk to them and give and take input.

Lot's of fun.
Nope, not young, near 60. And still have plenty of years to try things. This particular was scratched of the bucket list decades ago.

I am subbed depending on one requirement: someone HAS to do this.
I live in a non-legal state and grow in my basement 2/3 bathroom shower (2/3 as described by the realtor lol they couldnt just say "small"..) I would have done this SO long ago if I lived in CO or CA or really anywhere that wasn't across the street from the county courthouse...
Someone do this. It is the way forward for growers who are limited by space or plant number....
I really can't believe this hasn't been done yet!
Who's gonna do it? Who out there is BOLD enough to break new ground?

Here is a great grafting technique I found for my father, it's the greenhouse production method for grafting tomatoes, it is super simple and since each part is still connected to its' own root system during the union, it's really easy on the plants. Good place to start if you ask me. (I know noone did.)

My dream is a mother/veg room with 2 Indaica Dom moms with 4 to 5,8 week strains on each and 2 Sativa Dom moms with a couple 10-12 week strains each, both in large soil pots. Then have seperate Ind/Sat flower rooms, with hydro...possibly perpetual...just a pipe dream right now....someone do a proof of concept for me.

Tis possible, what is the max height for the area you're thinking about growing in? That'd ultimately determine whether or not you can pull it off without a few adjustments, not even factoring dom types for said plants.

Me too! You do have a wonderful air of enthusiasm that's usually beat out of us by life as we go along. I'd always hoped I'd be that way but alas I turned into the bitchy old lady that yells at kids who drive their bikes into the side of her car (WTF is up with THAT? Or are 3 y/o's today really driving their big wheels under the influence? Oh yeah and where are their parents? I wonder if back then we looked like hordes of locusts to our elders? ahhh perspective ....).

PS I mean my car parked in my driveway LOL

Ive grafted a few lime branches onto a lemon tree, it ended up taking over 6 months to fully grow together.
Im interested to see how quickly a vigorous plant like cannabis will graft.

Ive got root stock ready, next two days she should be fusion. Fuck im just gonna use a clothes pin and hope for the best. Whats the worst that can happen. This is the easiest plant to grow in the frickin woooooorld, how can this fail unless you ninja neck chop the plant in the face......fuck :) e

Ninja cut some narrow strips of saran/plastic wrap to use as a bandage, works great. Like 1/2 wide and 6-10 inched long then use like tape to wrap around your graft.

Maybe, ill be making a ninja plan today, you know, cruzin through youtube videos and reading stuff. Then my little pea brain will devise some hair brain idea and i will probably end up killing one or two plants in the process. Whats the worst that could happen though, dead plants, money wasted, time out the window? Im good a fuckin shit up so im used to all that stuff already so bring it the fuck on! Hmm, thinkin what to graft to an ice plant....only options are trinX or tangerine dream, the others are all long finnishers or purple. I guess its going to have to be tangerine dream then. Brown chicken brown cow bow chicka wowow :):):)
