I'm gonna devote some time to go back & study your thread rain storm just blew in so I'll have time thanks for your info on the waterfarm it's really useful I use a 250-400w. Switchable Galaxy ballast because it performers well & generates little heat I've used 600 & 1000w. set ups in the past but as my needs have changed the switchable set up is my favorite

No problem man, if you have any questions just let me know. This is only my 3rd grow ever but I have my dwc setup pretty dialed in so I should be able to help with most questions.

Extreme noob here. Have a Dwc on the way can you explain the process of watering and the addition on nutes or help me find a guide. Big thanks and Wow on your grow and progress.

I do not do the top feeding part with the water pump dripping into the basket, you do not need to do that. But you can if you want, I just found it a hassle and with it being your first go I would skip it if I was you.
I suggest using Rapid Rooters for germing your seeds, less is more, be careful not to soak your germing medium just keep it moist. I also suggest using Hydroguard.

Your grow is looking good & there is no better way than just get in there & go for it I flipped the light on my el diablo February.29 I've been shut down for about a year or so while we sold our home & bought another I haven't figured out how to make a direct link to my current grow in my signature with the thread# & all that I'm not altogether happy with my current grow I'm either gonna get my friends waterfarm or build a set-up similar to yours I've accumulated all kinds of grow stuff in the past & tbh. I'm a big fan of Diy stuff & got nothing but respect for others that do the same

Update time
End of week 10 for Original Amnesia, end of week 5 of flower. I'm returning my 400w because I have a 600w coming tomorrow so I'll get to finish off the second half of flower under the 600w. Buds are slowly bulking up. She was feeding at 1.6 EC at the start of flower but now she only wants about 1 EC.

LSD's root reached the water a day or two ago so I added some nutes today.

My current grow has been problematic , a series of small obstacles & really getting off to a rough start & I kind of get mad at myself cause as long as I've been doing thes ( a tad over 5 yrs) I should be more able to identify these problems & sort them out ,correct them & move forward I'm not off by much but still not hitting on all 8 I'm having trouble finding the url# for the el diablo in the house thread the old skywalker grow comes through fine I'll go back & look again maybe I'm missing something I'm not too computer literate I usually gotta ask one of my kids (they are grown & out of the nest) but even though my grow is legal they don't know legal or not sometimes the less known the better the main reason I like the single plant grow is it leaves room for a few clones & maybe a large outdoor plant amongst the tomatoes I retired & left cen- Cali for the Sierra gold country I just love it up here in the hills any how enough of my rambling if ya get a chance check out my grow I'll get it together after all life is pretty good

I took a look through your grow and yeah unfortunately you did start with an already started plant so kinda had to work with what you got. I see you solved the issues you were having so things are looking up! Only thing I'd suggest is grabbing some PH down instead of lemon juice(obviously lemon juice works but ph down is probably a little more stable, but what do i know lol), also I'd say try n arrange the budsites closer together almost in like a smaller circle rather than that big oval so you can take advantage of the maximum amount of light since you're just running a 250w. I see you ran scrog with the skywalker so I'm sure you know that too but just throwing it out there. Other than that she's lookin nice n green with no feeding issues, most people always are running into feeding issues but looks like you know your way there!

Sounds like a nice retirement, I'm not even half way to retirement haha I got a long ways to go!

Thanks man I'll try to paste that I'm gonna cut my losses & Finnish this out next grow its back to the screen & training my baby from the start 1 plant grows require a whole different train of thought than multi plant grows I'll take what I've learned & apply it in my next grow for sure & you've hit the nail on the head the lemon juice won't hold the ph down to a usable level for 24 hrs where at my other location it took 3 days before t crept up to the point I had to re- adjust ph. Only other option might be r/o water but ph- down looks to be the more logical solution this is a problem I definatly got to get under control before a decision/ waterfarm as the plant sits in the nute solution 24/7 I can't be having a ph rise that severe in a 24 her time frame

Hey anon thanks to you I successfully put that link in my signature my question is how did you get that url# I couldn't find it & dou have any new pics? My grow continues to improve having to tie limbs down daily next grow is gonna have a screen for sure

Welcome man, I just went to your thread and copied the URL from my browsers URL bar.

No new pics yet, with how many cola's I have the bud growth is pretty spread out so can't really get a good pic to show how much bigger it got vs last pic. Maybe next week I'll take some of the big one and this weekend i'll prolly throw one up of LSD.

Good to hear man, yeah really gotta keep on top of em tieing down, even with the net it's like every day moving from hole to hole. Pretty satisfying though! Kinda boring right now with both my plants in a kind of boring growth phase lol, the ones just a seedling so kinda just slowly growing, root growth is most difference day to day, and the big one its more of like you don't really notice how much bigger the buds got until like a week goes by.

@horribleherk scratch that, today turned out to be an update day actually

In week 6 of flower with Original Amnesia. Wasn't going to update today but she won't stop drinking like a motherfucker so had to spend some time refilling the res. Buds are really fattening up, nice new bunches of calyx's forming out the sides of the big buds. Unfortunately it's hard to see the difference in the buds through pics but if you look closely at my side pic from today next to the one from last week you'll see what i'm talking about. Can't really get the best pics with the street light on to begin with.

On to LSD, everythings going good. Just finished her first week of life, still under a 42w CFL. Roots look great and she looks great. I gotta get my lazy ass in gear and build a net for her before she really starts growing.

that led looks good & has a solid rep. Probably the best of barneys stuff I've only grown 1 dinafem strain blue widow it was good indoors & outdoors all is well for me if you get a chance check out my thread as you can see I don't get much company lolimage.jpeg
