This is my first grow and I need major help.My palnts were doing great untill the started to bud then the leaves started to turn yellow. I have no idea when to harvest them in the Toronto,Ontario area.

I am using a 15-30-15 fert once a week.

Here are my questions

1. What is the yellowing all about and how do I fix it?

2. When do I Harvest?

3. Any guess what I might Get dry?

4. Do my girls look good for my fist grow? What can I do better next year?

my plant did that with it leaves as well.i was told it has something to do with nitrogen and that it was perfectly alright.looks good brotha:clap:..im no genius, but with both plants together and dry weight i'd probably say a 1lb or so.give or take.what strain is that?

the leaves turn yellow during flowering because they are dying, the plant is putting everything its got into the buds. Pluck all the yellowing leaves off there is no need for them anymore. your looking good. as for harvest, look into the harvest/curing section of the forums and you'll find everything you need in there.

Yes it is normal for the plants to yellow it leafes like that. Normal that is if the plant is yellowing it older leafes first starting from the bottom up. it should start with all the 3 fingers leafes. Then start in on the larger finger leafes.

If this is what your plants are doing then they are just fine. I never pull the yellow leafes off until they come off with a slight tug. Any more than a slight tug I leave them on until the next day.

Looks great but next year gets some bigger pots if you can.

Hey man those look real good. As everyone said its normal and they are fine! Harvest them at least the second week of october. if you can let them go a bit longer with no frost than do so. I have some outdoors going north of toton to and I will harvest 1st or 2nd week of oct. good work Both those strain are great man!!

not bad for a first grow! Don't get all sucked up when your plant does this, or that because it's gonna do all sorts of things outside. At times your plant may take a beaten due to bad weather. But let me tell you this, outdoor plants are the best hands down! Any true cannabis expert will tell you the same thing, nothing beats the outdoors! Dude, totally enjoy your first grow. It came off good. Not all outside grows are so lucky(ripoffs, bugs, animals bad weather),there are many elements that the outside grower has to deal with. But it's all worth it to me!

I'm not gonna make a guess about your two plants, as far as weight goes. I'd have to be able to see those buds closer. Keep in mind, your plant is 70% water!
So look at your buds and imagine 70% of it gone,...then you'll have a pretty good idea what you haul will be! To me those buds don't look very dense, but I could be wrong?
Next time your plants start to bud, that is when you'll wanna change up your fertilizer. What you had going truly prevented you from having much bigger buds!
But if there is any advise I can give the new farmer, it's stay away from all 'Miracle Grow' products!!! You live to regret the day you ever used it on your stash!

Good luck with your next grow!

Good looking plants dude. Congratulations on what is going to be a successful first grow.
I'm just west of Toronto and find that harvest time is usally from the last week of September into the first week of October - but of course it depends on what you're growing. One thing you might want to think of next year is someway of controlling their height ie. pinching, topping, lst.....might help you keep a lower profile.

And I'm guessing you'll be right around a pound...be sure to let us know how it turns out.

Beautiful plants for a first grow. The yellowing is natural, just clip 'em get off when they turn yellow. You might wanna get ahold of some indicas for your next grow because huge plants are a little heaty. If you absolutely want a sativa go for it, but I personally wouldn't want a 10 foot tall Haze plant in my backyard, especially in Toronto. Get some bigger pots too.
