Alright so i have one female that is budding like a beuty and she is about 6 ft tall. Although i recently when and check on them and every single leaf it yellow and hanging dead. The only leaves that are living is the the ones that the buds come out next to. I understand that some leaves are supposed to turn yellow, but do all of them? It looks like it could use nit. but i here u dont use it during flowering. The question i had is, do i pick those leaves off or do i just let them naturaly fall off? and what is the prob. with the leaves doing this. thank you help would be appreciated:peace:bongsmilie

Let them fall off themselves and water your plants well. Leaves often die in the beginning of flowering, wait it out.

stays relevant.
wow 25 people looked at it and not ONE single response. thanks
Hazemaster, you should be a little bit more patient.

Hoe long has it been flowering, and what is your nutrient mixture at and feeding schedule? If you have any pictures they would be very helpful.

ITs been flowering for 10 days now, and ive been using 12-1-1 bat guano as a top dressing every other week. But i load it up. Its only the main fan leaves, if i picked all those yellow leaves of it would just be buds and a couple leaves under the buds, its very weird. IT would look like a bango tree pruned

It probably needs nitrogen...give it a medium dose feeding then wait about 3 days for results...Make sure you give a phos high based fert just make sure there is suitable amounts of nitrogen not over board though or you can hinder your flowering 10-30-5 would be a good mix...if you got totally yellow leafs pick those they wont do much anymore, but get some nitrogen in it..how far in flower are you??later in flower its normal to have yellowing leafs but it should not be overboard:eyesmoke:

yah im only 10 days into flowering, thats why i dont under stand why they would already be dieing off. Do u think i give it a nice doe of high nit. bat guano it will confuse the plant and not want to flower? last dose i used molasses, so we will see how that goes. ( this isnt my plant but just for an example those leaves on the bottom that are yellow look just like the ones that are all over my plants. Its even on the top! )

I had the similiar situation, but since it is kind of normal, perhaps a little excessive in my case -im still not too worried. My buds look great, personally im not going to over-react. Im giving mine organic nutes with good nitrogen and 50 %are yellow(the large fan leaves) Im relaxed!

dont rush it and yes you can pick them off but only if they come off ez they turn yellow when the plants buds its the sugar leaving leaves to give to the flowers so chill bro dont rush AND DONT OVER WATER if you starve the plant for water a bit it stimulates it to produce more thc

10 days in flower???it should not be yellowing..its yellowing because its using the stored up nutrients in the fan leafs because its not getting nutrients, but like the guy said don't over water trying to fix it wait till the soil dries out before you water with nutrients and don't starve the plant of water until your ready to harvest! you want to water when the soil is dry but still has a little moisture left in it..you also want to have scheduled waters to help promote good root growth..and you can pick the yellowed leafs off,if they are still somewhat green leave them they can still be saved maybebongsmilie:mrgreen:

mine did the same this year, and i see we both planted in pots. it was right at the beginning of flowering when gradually the lower leaves would die off. i think i should have continued strong doses of nitrogen at this time but i assumed i was supposed to lower it. i just realized that it must have been that the nitrogen (and other nutes) drain out of the soil very quickly.
keep up the nitrogen, she needs it.

The no nitrogen and spike phos at flower is horrible information that i see getting spread around, while you do want higher phos you do need decent amount of nitrogen:mrgreen:

alright like i said before thanks guys. Im goin to try to find a ratio of 3 8 12. Somwhere around there? the only problem is, all i have is bat guano so should i still use it as a top dressing and mix it with some bone meal?

I also has one other question..... is it possible to use toooo much molasses? could it burn the plants?

Molasses is used not produce nutrients such as NPK,its used to help the roots access the nutes from the soil easier, sort of like a charbohydrate,i dont know all the details but i use it,it does also help bring out the flavors too. There was a very good and detailed post in the GROWFAQ about it...Here i found it,it tells you everything you need to know about itbongsmilie:mrgreen:

Ya man. Get some good bloom nutes and use molasses as an enhancement and yr buds will be facillitated in reaching their potential. Don't over do the nutes though. There are other things too, like foliar spraying, you can use molasses and h2o2 for a foliar spray, hellps deter harmful crap(bateria, pests) and increases intake potential, vitamin B1 also.
