the only problem i see is that you need to add dirt up to the first set of leaves. otherwise i think they look ok.

I have some ph tester for pools.. the kind you dip in water.. go wtf color is this and try and match the color that you swear matches 2 or 3 different colors on the chart then you scratch your head.. id asked many times and not so much as a single response.. would this fix my waters ph?

http://www.petsmart.com/global/product_detail.jsp?PRODUCT%3C%3Eprd_id=845524441776848&FOLDER%3C%3Efolder_id=2534374302030154&ASSORTMENT%3C%3East_id=2534374302023693&bmUID=1180763794226&itemNo=0&Ntt=ph&In=All&previousText=ph&N=2

Or will it alter my water to the "HAHA YOUR GONNA KILL EM" kinda water? I have absolutly no accurate way of reading the damn ph now changing the level.

Maybe this is something to look into, you can pick up a Lcd ph pen for like £20 it makes reading the ph so much easier then messing about with test strips.

As for for them bottles I dont know if there work mine just say ph down or ph up... go in a hydro/fish shop and ask for.!!!

Are those the new pots in the pictures? If so, seems to me like you are going to be wanting to transplant them again in a week or so.

I'm with FDD on this, they look fine to me and you really need to put some more soil in those pots. They still could be a little stressed from the x-plant or just a little soggy from the new water. On your next watering, add some Super Thrive to the water and continue to add it to your water for the next 4 weeks or so. Thats about the only thing you should consider adding to your water the first few weeks of growth.

The description for the PH stuff you have says its for aquariums, so you could use it. It also removes chlorine, so no need to have your tap water sit out over night. Use the ph7.0 stuff to assure your water ph is neutral. You should be more concerned about how you will test the ph of your soil. This needs to remain between a ph of 6.0-7.0. Consider investing into a decent soil ph tester if this is anything more than a fun little 'what if' project, but even those cheap rods you can find at most garden centers will do and are better than nothing at all.

Good luck

got black plastic trash bags at home? use then those, but don't forget to cut holes for drainage into them!

OR if im going to a hydro shop to pick up my soil needs should I just get a hydro system? i heard there harder but hell.. ive yet t ogrow a single plant.. and i thought this shit grew inspite of you =/

and by lookin at those pics i would say you got a over-watering problem rather then anything else. also such young plants won't need nutes till week 4 of veg, by then they will need them but till week 3 it will harm then!

grow, if going for soil, with a soil perlite mix and watch out to use pots with drainage holes. water only if the topsoil is dried up and the soil in the drain holes isn't too moist anymore.

you don't need sterilized soil but seedless soil to grow with and it should have at least 20% perlite to it for good drainage and lightness so that air can get thru. air is important since the useful bacs in soil need it to work with, bacs causing root rot work anaerobe, so without air and i guess this is your problem.

Well not sure if its sterilized nessisarily.. It's Hoffman Seed Starter soil.. thats all I know and I picked it up at meijers.. any better suggestions then this? Its REALLY fluffy and light like soil.

well propagation soil normally comes with perlite added to it, those are little white granulates with pores allover, if those are in the soil it is great stuff. just watch out that it is not pre-nuted, that would mean it has longtime/time released nutes added to it which are plant killers really!

but fluffy sounds good to me;)

The bag does not mention (anywere) anything about nutes at all.. I've checked many times for a npk. And yes I think it has a "few" of those white balls but not much like i swear less then 1 percent but the soil is bery light and non compact.. nor can i compact it if i tried.. lol it's just like that foam stuff.. if you squish it it goes back to its orogonal shape.. xD

Well what I "think" will happen. These all die.. I get a better bucket and a ph checking pen thing.. So I can zero in on my problem. I have tons more seeds to use (like 40) and can possible get a whole lot more next Saturday at my party.. My boss might be there and said if he did he was gonna match me shot for shot.. haha But by then ill have some hits and get high.

believe me or not, it isn't a good idea to nute this early if you grow on soil, with hydro or rockwool E&F it is a totally different topic, but with soil it is a no-no. and why should you, the soil holds enough nutes on its own to support a plant for about 4 to 6 weeks depending on grow speed and strain.
