100% CFL grow with pics, on week 6

So here it is. I did this grow to see what was possible with just CFL, from start to finish. I have not quite got the results some people here have, could be from a lot of factors, but who knows.

420 Watts between 9 lights. Bag seed, no CO2, no temp control, bubbleponics, fox farms, all warm with 1 125 watt blue for flowering. I vegged for 2 weeks, with amazing growth under the CFLS.

While I am happy with the grow, and the buds I have picked are incredibly tasty, I am going to be switching to HPS after this grow again. I want to do veggy under CFL, flower under HPS.

Unless it really fills in the next 2/3 weeks, I am sorta not happy with how not filled in the stalks are. This could be from week light causing larger internodes, or perhaps just the strain, or lack of CO2 injection..who knows....

It is only 1 plant, with a new baby growing on the side. PLanted 3 originally, 2 were male.

The first 3 pics are from veggy and early flower. Then ya got 2 from yesterday, at week 6 of flowering.

Would love comments, or ask any questions you want.

what are some of the reasons its not very dense? I know CFLs are notorious, but I am using more CFL than some people and gotten less than ideal results. How much is genetic?

do you think the buds will fill in at all? Or is it sorta a kind of if they are not filled it by week 6, they are not going fill in thing? Cause, if they aint gonna grow much more, im gonna cut soon, cause I have some, about 25%, amber trichomes and the smoke is dank from samples.

My only problem with cfl's is that normally you have to add around 3 weeks on top of whatever it takes to finish flowering.
so if you are six weeks flowering your sativa could have another 8 weeks to go.
your plant looks great and will fatten up eventually.

as far as genetics go, they are about 60 percent of the plants appearence and quality. the other 40 is of course water, light, and of course AIR.

but looks dank so far zoe!!!

below is a pic of my girl at 7 weeks.450 wats of cfl's. bulb in backround is a 65 watt cfl to put it in perspective.

dannnnnnng, 8 more weeks? Holy moly. Maybe I should just bite the bullet and buy an HPS to finish this grow instead of waiting till my next one......hmmmmm

well, see , yours is only a week older than mine, and loads more filled in, I just don't think mine is going to fill in. I don't really know where I went wrong. I'm using as much Watts as you. Maybe I should go with the HPS.........blah...haha

Could it possibly be bulb positioning zoe?
I have 2 65 watters on my very top colas and 42 watters on the tips of the other secondary colas.
The trick is to make a reflective hood for all of your bulbs to focus all of the light on one area.
then you must get them within 2 inches of the bud. i have fans that are continuesly blowing on my bulbs to keep them cool.

CFL Light intensity sucks, just place your hand under a cfl so that your hand is touching, slowly move your hand away and notice how quickly the light fades.

if i were you though i would stick with the cfl's get one under your belt just for giggles. then switch to the hps.
gain alll of the experience you can, while you can!
good luck

Here is a pick of the set up. It is a very very bushy plant. It has about 4 main colas that are budding heavy, and then 4 other branches with lighter budding. I have 3 100w on top and then its surrounded by the 42s on the sides (you can only seed one side).

The small plant on the left is a baby purpleH
