100% fem seeds from outside grow--WTF??

So, here's the deal. I had several plants growing outside this past summer, a couple of blue hash crossed with ganesch spirit. They did really well and when I harvested them I noticed that ALL of them had seeds in varying degrees. I made 100% certain to remove the males well before they could pollinate the females (or so I thought). In any case the smoke is great and there really aren't THAT many seeds. I had 5 plants and have gotten about 200 seeds total from all of them.

So, here's my conundrum....were they pollinated by one of my males before he got pulled? Were they fertilized by a rogue plant growing somewhere else? I know pollen can travel miles under the right conditions. Or did they pollinate themselves somehow? I know that sounds funny but...here's the rub...ALL the seeds I've planted so far from this grow have ALL been female, every last one of them. Now, granted, I only germinated 12 so far...and they are now on their third week of flowering in my 4x4 tent with a 1000w hps. I just upped the wattage a couple days ago from 400w and they seem to like the change of light.

But I digress. Are the cause of these all being females the result of self fertilization or just plain dumb luck. Yeah, I know I can plant some more and see if I get the same result and I will. But I just wanted to get some other thoughts and opinions.

if they were all female seeds, and one hermied, the seeds will also be fem'ed, but will also carry the hermie genetics as well..

And I'm cool with having a supply of seeds, but, if they were fertilized by a rogue male from god knows where, then I have no idea what the genetics are and therefore no idea what the smoke will be like. Therein lies my biggest problem. I got no idea how good or bad this weed will be. It has very little smell to it but, so far, they look really nice.

Yeah that's what I'm thinking too. In any case I'll grow them out and see what the smoke is like.

Those are some good odds considering the sex of the plants. Maybe someone had a female plant outside close by and they were making female pollen or seeding some plants outdoors with them or something. That + bees could be the culprit. Let's hope the smoke's pretty awesome and let's hope you find that one super sexy girl for a nice mother.
My first big outdoor plants were loved by a humming bird that would poke around in them a lot.

Thanks for the replies everybody. The smoke from the plants is really good...and I guess I am lucky getting all fem seeds...I can't wait to see what the smoke from the new girls is like. I have them in a 4x4 tent with a 1000w HPS, they are growing great so far. I planted them directly into ocean forest soil, transplanted 2X and are now in 3 gallon pots. The only ferts I've given them is Jack's bloom booster 10-30-20 I believe it is?

I had a couple humming birds in my garden as well and lots of bees so, yeah that may have helped fertilize them.

MJ plants are wind polinated plants. Birds and bees don't do anything.

Some female plants will self pollinate. The girls wait and wait for a man, then when none comes by the end of the flower cycle, they get out the vibrator and have at it. If you hear them moaning, it can be a beautiful thing and give you lots of fem seeds. This doesn't mean YOUR seeds are all fem, but they could be, if your plant got bored and horny. Look for the hair on her palms and tell her you still love her, it's all good.
