Cool set up he sure stuck a lot of plants in 80 gallons hey. When are you back from vacation I would like to see more pics of your garden. Also how is your la pure kush on taste and smell? Is it from hazeman seeds? Was eyeing some up I don't have any kush in my garden.
Lol yeah, quicker canopy fill, shorter veg time. He just throws down manure from his rabbits to fertilize his rounds now. He just pulled his third harvest out of the beds, don't have a full total yet but if all his plants average out the same as what he's trimmed so far he's on track to hit over 2 pounds per light. The beds get better and better each time!

My la pure kush is a clone only strain from a breeder in L.A. It smells and tastes like a cookie jar full of smashed up oreos, gouda cheese, and raspberries. I have only tried an lapk from one seed bank and it was a while ago man so unfortunately I do not remember which one, it grew similar to mine but the final product wasn't quite the same. Still good. Just not quite the original.

I'll be posting pics in the next couple days!

I like beaches, Asian girls, Thai food and it's cheaper to live there than 'Murrica.
The beaches in Thailand are gorgeous but southern Thai food isn't as good as the rest of the country. Eat for a dollar a plate or less if you know where to go! I can do without the Asian girls though lol. Rasta looking forward to your pics bro!

@Rasta Roy You back from vacation bro? Want to see some updated pictures. Am I crazy for buying 300 gal pots? They are twice as deep then the beds I use. How do I water something like that without it going anaeobic? Do you water it deeper? Any tips you can give on watering such a deep pot?

Had to cut down a week earlier than I wanted to so that my schedule for the next round fits my next vacation. Trichomes looked on point though. Smoke cured up nice. Four and a quarter pounds out of three lights, they were 1000s in veg but I switched to 600s about two weeks into the grow because my old ballasts finally took a shit and I wanted to go a little smaller wattage wise.

Next round all skunk 47. Unfortunately my clone grow arrangement has changed so these babies were pretty sad looking to start but they got solid genes and turned around quick.

And then I went on vacation for a little bit. I had a friend water the plants while I was gone. They misunderstood an instruction and top dressed with an organic compost starter blend I made instead of some compost I had set aside for them to use. The plants showed a little bit of N toxicity here and there but they still seemed to grow fine. I cannot stress the little amount of work I've done in this garden. But it's been flourishing in spite of me!

Hope everything is going well man! Sorry I didn't get back at you sooner. So my beds are 100 gallon smart pots and about a little less than two feet deep. I'd like to think the smart pot material should go a little bit of the ways in keeping it from going anaerobic. To be truthful friend my first round in the pots going anaerobic was the least of my concerns; I couldn't keep enough water in the pots. I was watering twice every 24 hours fairly heavily when the plant roots got deeper. I barely water now. Since I got back from vacation i've only watered once a week, about 8 to 10 gallons of water per 100 gallon soil bed. the top of my soil gets dry but the roots are so deep the plants don't give a fuck. the leaves are always reaching for the light when the lights pop on and they've been developing nicely other than the N burn from some misadded ferts lol. I think the upper layer of soil drying out the way it does gives me a nice buffer against gnats. I haven't seen any since I ditched the straw mulch and left the soil surface exposed.

I would recommend watering frequently but with small amounts of water when your plants are small. Once they're about a foot tall they should have a nice deep root system and you should water less frequently but with larger amounts. After your first couple grows youll start to notice less water coming out the bottom of your beds when you water in large amounts and you can start watering with less water.

I refuse to go in to Elderly man just for that reason! I grew up watching my dad spend all his money there I try to not to tease myself by going in there and looking at gear I shouldn't spend my money on.
