I need a worm factory minus an array of livestock or farm animals. definitely have the coffee grounds covered. maybe some of my rural neighbors can provide me with chicken shit. been settlin' for that wiggle worm, poop ina bag.
I think next weekend I will be getting chickens. I will be able to hook you up with some shit. I forget if you said you lived in mid michigan or the thumb, but we'll get it there. I could ship it also. To have fun I will write drugs on the box and we will see how many packages it takes before they quit searching them. lmao.
This morning, while on the shitter I read how important steer manure is (skunk mag. of course. They love some shit articles. They are the poop mag. lol). I am not getting any of those fuckers. lol. I will try to find shit source though. Maybe Michigan will have a shit swappers thread. lol.

when i was using soil i had my worms living the dirt. after i re-pot i put the old soil in a bug tub with compost they seemed to love it. breaking a worm in half wont make two worms btw. and you cant do it in a soil-less mix they wont stay in the pots they hate it.

Composted Horse manure is supposed to be pretty awesome for red worms. I notice people with horses cant give the manure away fast enough, pretty much you bag it and haul it away.

My wife stopped me at making a bin in the basement and starting a compost pile in the backyard. This is a good thing though because once I get going on a new project I get tunnel vision, the next thing you know I'd have a whole farm in my back yard. I gotta get sneaky this week when I bring home composted horse manure from a local farm. I already know when I use her brand new SUV to transport it I'm risking my life (LOL). Good luck on your worm venture GladStoned!
lmfao... i know what your saying about getting that "tunnel vision' thing..

We produce high quality earthworm castings in Elkhart, IN. A quick drive from Michigan. You can purchase from us or at Gromart in Edwardsburg, MI, we also sell at Harbor Country Hydroponics. Our castings are called "My Garden's Best Friend Organic Earthworm Castings Fertilizer. Please feel free to contact me for an appointment to come see our castings. We also sell in bulk. We don't use any paper in our bedding and feed them a consistent mix of grain and high quality peat.

Everyone should make their own, I think. Obviously because I say it about daily. Do like the Nasty-man. Amend the VermiCompost as you would soil. Neem, etc. Remember that Vermicompost is better than a bag of worm castings.

It's the heart and soul of the soil. It's worth having the best you can get.
