1000 w or 600w hps?

Read HOBBES threads on it. You will understand. 1 600w on a mover is Badass, and 2 on a mover is even more Badass. if you dont have the room so be it. But in a perfect world, a Moving light is the way to go

Entire room to grow, Currently in Garage so no real vent system since you know, Its basically outside. I will be going 1 strain, maybe 2. my light is currently 12-15 from tops. BUT they are LST , topped, supercropped heavily so they are almost flat except the main stem. Umm, I plan on moving the grow indoors, An entire room. To get away from pests, and to get better temp control. I COULD have my lights indoors this week if need be.

I am ordering an 6-8 bulb t5 light this week, for mothers and clones. I will get a tent as well if needed, But if indoors I can use the closet in the Room,Small but should work. I removed the glass on my hood, cause its cold. and I feel its slowing my clones and plants down right now.

ok so yes i highly advise you to move your op indoors, it will greatly reduce your chances of disease, pest, and mildew. second thing and this is important to make sure you absolutely wont have bug problems..... you fog your grow room. next are you going to be adding more lights? each 600w light can cover a little over 3x3 sqft area depending on how large you want your plants to be... i like bigger plants because the yield more.... second i highly reccomend the use of co2, it will increase your yield by 40% if done correctly

ok, done! going indoors. Fog the room as in the Bug spray stuff? that bombs the entire room? Um, I was planning on sticking to 2x-600w. 1x t5 light, I can get an automated light mover if needed would that help? I too would rather spend longer in Veg for larger plants and less clones in veg.

Yea, without topping or the training I did mine would only be around 1.5 ft they are 90% indica tho. and stay short. Aurora indica. the room has RUG, would I need to elevate the pots or simply putdown 6x8 of some wood?

i dont have any experience with flowering with light rails, i have 1 light mover that i use for veg but in flower you need more lumens to gain more weight. so i think you should be fine with 2 lights, i would only do 4 plants per light if you want big plants like mine, keep in mind 1 of my plants will yield 5-7oz per plant, if so your roots need alot of grow space so you want at least 5 gallons of soil, i start to feed my plants hydro nuits after 50 days of growth.... are you using nuits? i use foxfarm ocean forest mixed with happy frog soil conditioner, and for nuits i use sensi bloom part a and part b, super thrive for veg, big bud , for begging of bloom, and overdrive for last critical weeks, then 1 week of flush..

looks great!! i'm new and trying. i have a 1000w with soil. going to get the new hood with glass and get the ducting and fan hooked up. with the 1000 can i put the lights as close as you do? the temp is 75 and 30%hum but want to get the light close. now is at 2 feet above. i also got have some room to work so got 7in pots is that to big? sorry for all the questions is veging with hps bad? thank you have a great day!!
