1000w air cooled hood

I'm looking into getting an air cooled hood, and im curious how my temps would be an a fairly small size bedroom (something along the lines of 10x11ft) if I could find a proper way to vent. I know that I could get fresh air from an adjacent room, but im not sure where I should exhaust to. Where do most people exhaust hot air?

My current setup is a 600w open hood with a window fan for cool air. I have a really hard time keeping the temperatures down in the warmer season. And I also get sick of having to manage my fan speeds in order maintain a stable temperature. those with 1000w air cooled hoods let me know what you think.

I bring in fresh Air from my bedroom window, then moves through the wall into my grow space. Then exhausts into my living room. 1k in 147 cu ft.
I had to put some holes in the walls to make this work, but because I did, I no longer need to worry about temps.
I reccomend getting a closed hood for your 600.

600 is my current, I do ok with an open hood, but I want to upgrade to a 1000

In a 5x5 with my exhaust going to the room it pulled air from I kept it at 78-81 depending on the weather out side. hot as a mofo outside and ill be 81. Hope it helps give you an idea of what temps you will have. I also didn't have ac running to me room just a ceiling fan

So why not get an enclosed hood...less expensive than an AC in the long run and easier to keep things cooler. And ideally most would exhaust hot air outside.
That's what this thread is about. I want to get an enclosed hood, but I don't know how to go about exhausting or in taking through the window without causing insolation issues from having to keep the window open 6 or 8 inches

I realize that's what this thread is about, and I am simply offering suggestions. What other avenues of research have you taken? There are more precise answers I'm sure in books and trusted marijuana growing websites.

You can easily DIY a piece of wood cut to the size of your window and weather proofed if need be with 2 circles in it that would fit your duct. One intake one out.

I could keep rain out, sure. But can you really weather proof from 15 degrees in the winter or 85 in the summer?

I've done it. It worked out. I got some black plastic sheeting and wrapped the plywood.
Just plywood and pink insolation eh? I was maybe thinking insolation board but I can try that may want to go with white plastic to avoid heat in summer btw

Edit: do you have issues pushing 85 degree outdoor air across the hood in the summer? Sounds less than productive

The black was a little more discreet for my purposes. And I didn't have outdoor air cooling down my lamp. It was indoor air being pulled in from another room through a window. But I did exhaust the hot air through the window (with the makeshift piece of plywood). Just try it out man. Get your temps down before you throw any plants in there.

Yeah. For sure, I'm thinking about exhausting through the return air so I don't have to do any funny business with the window. Still undecided

Seems like a big room for just one 1000w, unless I read that wrong.

I've got a 1kw & 400w hps hanging vert in a 4x4 and my temps are sitting at 27c.
