1000w de cmh

Anyone ever used one of these?

I seen this the other week and I’m putting another room together soon and thought I might give them a try.

So this is the cmh comparison of 1k?

I've never used one but it looks ideal to me, my only reservation would be around dimming cmh bulbs creating colour shift?

Mh for example allegedly has lots of green in the spectrum when dimmed?

Tbh for my needs I’d never dim them but that’s good to know, I had no idea.

I don’t know what you mean. It’s a 1000w draw from the wall light. Or if you mean kelvin, it’s available in 3k or 4k

They have they 315 and the 630 now the 1k. Seems they wanted to compete with the 1k watt

I don’t think it’s quite their competition wise as this cmh only puts out 1600ish umol, but it’s certainly a step towards something. I actually prefer cmh to led so it would be nice to see something that will actually compete with some of the bigger led fixtures over a 5x5, with these id do just that but I’d probably want to supplement with some LEDs just to bring the average par over the full canopy up
