Hi..
Well it looks like your exhaust of your light goes into the wall... I would def change that.. I would also put your AC near the top and have that kick on before your lights start than.. With that being said, your room will balance more in a temp when the cold air exchanging with the hot air raising. Trust me on that point.!!! For several years I always pumped by fresh air in at the bottom- well not no more!! I can keep my temps about 3 degrees color by eliminating the hot air.. I do this now my fresh air coming in near the top of lights..

In that pic, it looks like your drew an air cool shade-is that true? And still heat issues?

600w would've been plenty for a 4 x 4.

Your AC vent is only going to blow cool air while the cental A/C is blowing.

Can you aircool the light using the hot air from the top of the tent, and blow it out. No sure what's going on there - looking at your drawing.

are the ballasts in another room? Ducts and fixtures insulated?

I don't think you're going to get a handle on the heat in that small space without supplemental A/C

Take a look at my grow for Ideas; I had a heck of a time getting 800w cooled in a 10 sq ft area.

"Is it exhausting" is the question, and where to? It's hard to know if your blasting air into a sealed dead space, or an open wall that exits (leads to) somewhere.

Can you run a duct outside or into a crawlspace or attic?

Are you worried about the smell if not, draw the air from the room and exhaust out normal. I would be a little worried about blowing hot air between your walls- maybe over time u can loose integrity. Right now I run two 1000HPS and 2 600Watts in an 8 by 8 room. I pull fresh air in and the air is blown at the top of my grow room. I have no troubles with heat because I also exhaust with a large fan as well. The trick is the fresh air that drops to the floor- in your case, your AC unit needs to blow cold air at the top not at the bottom of your grow room.. THis will work really well in your situation. Very easy and quick fix... No more problems and no more getting tecqunical. Keep it simple.
