Hello all I am a long time lurker and a closet grower for a few years now, never had the chance to do a large scale grow. Currently I would like to jump into that having my new house in a very nice neighborhood where most of the houses here have high electric bills due to massive houses.

I am trying to decide between 10x Solarstorm 400watt. which is 4000 watts of power.
or Inda-gro 420par induction lights. about 10 of those which is 4200 watts of power also

I plan on growing 24 plants in a 10x10 with Bubble flow buckets
Sealed room, co2, All of the highest quality equipment. My budget is around 15k for everything.

I'm looking to possible yield every month. hoping for 5 pounds. 8 pounds if I nail one gram per watt.
Haven't done something this large and Im not sure if my expectations are too high or not.

But I am trying to minimize as much power on my bill per month and get the most of grams per watt.

Any input on which I should choose?

just my opinion......and i know nothing of induction lights
I would go leds with 10 you could hang some sideways and grow some crazy side buds
like 6 from the top and one one each of the 4 sides

Are those the only lights you ave thought about? And with or without the pontoon for the indagro's?

4000w-4200w is about what it would take to do hps. I would run about 4 1k's or 6-8 600's if doing hps. And that is the same wattage you want to run, that is what you should compare to.

2 indagro's is comparable to a 1K from what I have seen, so I would say 10 IG's would be pretty good. Better than the 400 solar storms for sure. If you want to go led's, there are better lights to choose that will also save power. Also I think that movers will make a huge positive difference with IG's.
