Which do you guys think would yield the most under a 400w(ak47)? From what i've read, 12/12 will yield just as much as an autoflowering seed.... so what is the point of autoflowering seeds if they take just as long and yield the same?

most strains need a 12/12 photo period to induce flowering....autoflowers however will flower at a certain stage of growth regardless of light schedual...its not a matter of yeild but of conveience....with an autoflower you can run outdoor all year long..or as long as there is sunshine and no frost...the drawback though is the yeilds are shit and there are few potent autoflower strains....

whats the average yield of a autoflowering ak47 under a 400w?

Auto flower strains tend to be from the equator.. in gene's... Due to the stability of sun periods at or near the equator, marijuan "autoflowers"....
These genes have been bred into other strains to get autoflowering wehatever... Just try it and see. I imagine you would get more yeild from autoflowering than you would from 12/12 from seed.

I think its how you grow the auto strains cause my 1st grow in the aerogarden was with the original lowryders and my friends raved over how good the bud was. and it was damn good if i say so myself.

Hey man, I honestly will recommend the Hempy Bucket method. From talking with the guy that designed it, Hempy, it produces probably the highest yeils for such a simple setup. Here is a video to the setup, pretty slick honestly. Keep your light bright after the spouts have become established. Get some good nutes, Fox Farms works for me, but use whater you like, as long as it is Hydro Nutes....
Good long days of sun too, like 18 or 20 hours. They will flower regardless...
Look up the Hempy method, you will not be disapointed!

Here is the forum that Hempy posts at too....

No all of the strains do. All Equitorial Marijuana plants autoflower, and you can grow them year round...

Wow, that is completely wrong. This is a perfect example of people spreading misinformation. Please stop.

Equatorial plants absolutely are NOT autoflowering. The reason plants "autoflower" is because they don't have seasons so they can't count on a 12/12 day/night light schedule to know when to flower.

If I am wrong I would be more than happy to learn about these other autoflowers.

wrong wrong wrong............ruderalis is the only autoflowering cannabis strain there is....and grows mostly in the midwest...most equatorial strains are indica....and they dont auto flower unless breed with ruderalis which i believe is more dominant in plains and flatland areas...like the midwest....
and yes most hemp product came from the ruderalis strains.........
