Basically I have my plants 12/12 from seed for about 3-4 weeks now, and I think they're starting to show sex. First grow, so help is appriciated. Providing pics. I know the pictures arent the best but, I tried. With a mag glass I believe i see a white hair, but im not sure because the whole stem is fuzzy. Provided a pic of the plant, got 9, all look the same. 400 watt hps and 200 watt cfl 6500k. Oh, and is mylar worth it? I know its cheap, wondering if it makes a diff. Oh and I have some jack herer pollen, sensi seeds. I was wondering if you think a purp urk x jack herer would be a sexy cross. I have never had Herer but I heard its delicious.

Looks a little too early to tell its sex. Give a couple more days to a week and it should show.

On Mylar, go for it. More light the better.
Good luck!

Looks like the beggining of a lateral branch to me,not the best pics to be honest...take your pics in natural light, not under the HPS.

When growing 12/12 from seed the plants will take a bit longer to show sex.

I always veg until I see preflowers, then I either throw them into 12/12 (but always take clones and label them to there donor plant) or continue vegging.

Normal plants that are mature show signs if sex after 1 to 2 weeks of 12/12.

It's very possible it could be but he said 4 weeks of 12/12. If it's not branches it's surely a female. That's usually how mine look before it happens. But like you said, not the best.

Read up on breeding, actual breeding.Pollen chucking (not real breeding) can be fun,but the real magic is when you continue to work a line making it stable to ensure future results of the same...little to no phenotypic variation amongst future seed plants.

Yeah he should. I have lots of fun. One time I bred two and it was extremely stable. What gives? How comes other aren't..
So you're saying all seed plants from resulting breeding project came out uniform in size/stature,smell,flavor etc?

Typical of an f1 hybrid but as you work each fillial generation, more phenotypic variation comes out.
