Maybe your getting light interruption in your dark cycle.

so if thats the problem they will keep on growing even if they keep producing pistols?

You can revert the plant back to vegetative growth it just takes a few weeks. Like I said leave your plants alone when the lights are out iinterupting the dark cycle can stress the plants. You might want to just go head and flower them (12/12) lesson learned for your next grow . . . .

Yes. The plant will grow taller with skinny buds and your overall yield will suffer.

Well...I just positively identified 1 of my 2 plants as male.
the other one still hasn't shown sex.

The 2nd plant is definately female, I noticed the white hairs today....all thats left is to let it finish flowering, then I will let you guys know how much I get from this little thing.

As you can see, she's female.

Hopefully she gets bigger, not sure if this strain responds well to 12/12 from seed. I am going to have to keep all of the same conditions, and try this again with a different strain and see how the results differ.

Nice going on your experimentation! I gues your not looking for a big yield then because more light energy the more it can metabolize it's nutrients.

what about 18/6 18 night 6 day???

hey if the roots are showing on the side of the cup u should switch to a pot because the roots dont like light and will grow better/faster when there not exposed to light

I did hear that somewhere before, so I just taped the sides so no light hits the roots.

i had my plants on lights for 18/whatever then i moved to 12 but it seemed too little light so i finally did 24/ and it boosts growth a lot...i kinda like shorter bushier flowers better so i have a plank over my plant that it just runs into and curves...im thinking of making it go in a spiral around the pot...its a good cool idea that i got from growing other plants(catnip,hot peppers, flowers) i like more of viney plants they are kind of cool if you have a viney plant crawling up your house that flowers every year so i have one twisted all around....its a fantastic thing to do.
